Thank you so much. I rarely use this and have to watch a video on how to do it every time it comes up for a project. Thank you for being very plain and clear so I can understand.
Works great if you want the movement map to go throughout your entire video. Doesn't work if you just want a bit of video to have this effect. As an example, a video with a parked car and you want to blur out the license plate. You cannot get the blur effect to work on just that bit of video. it's the whole video or nothing.
@@PureUniquePro Thanks for the response. I didn't word that well, sorry. I'm a total noob when it comes to video editing, so I don't know what to call things, and how to say things. I'm quite sure it's possible, I just don't know how. In your video, the movement map ran the entire length of your video, so no problem. In my video, I have a few short sections that show a car's license plate that I want to blur out. But every time I try to record a motion map, it starts it from the very beginning of the video. I tried breaking the bits with the license plate into their own clips on their own layers and then recording the motion map, but again, it starts at the very beginning and includes the entire video, (all clips). So, that's what I mean when I say it's the whole video or nothing. If you want to do a motion map for a small bit or a larger video ... there seems to be a problem. Maybe I have to make that clip separately, as it's own video, and then once it's complete and rendered add it to the bigger project, but that seems overly complicated.
I understand what you meant. I didn't face any problem like that. But yeah, you have to track motion in a separate project for this kind of problem. The fact is VSDC is like Adobe After Effects; it works good when you are editing a single clip (for example: when you wanna add text, it covers the entire timeline), but not good for editing multiple clips. The developers are updating this software, & I hope this problem would be fixed ASAP. Thank you!
I think I just figured out one of my big problems with Tracker. I didn't know the square box had to be big enough to cover the objects movement onto the next frame. I thought the smaller the box the more accurate the tracking would be. I have hated using the Tracker because it rarely works out well for me. Maybe that is why???

Nice
wow
Thanks, bro
great
Thanks
When I apply the movement map it moves the whole scene around instead of just the box I'm attempting to mask. Any thoughts?

Why whole video? I mean, I didn’t blur the entire footage, just the face; in your case, just the car plate (by using rectangle).

@@PureUniquePro Thanks
why is it when I press "start analysis" it only moves one frame and doesnt do the green line tracking and doesnt play the video

Yeah, make the box larger and it should cover the movement of the next frame.
Is it only for VSDC pro?
Yes, but you can try it in free version. But you can't export it in free version.
Bro how to save after tracking please tell please
When you gonna create a movement map, the saving option will come, therefore select a path wherelse you want to save!
Nice
Thanks
