My sister, you really should replace your profile picture with one of yourself better covered as a Muslim woman, or maybe something else like a kind word or phrase, or maybe even nothing at all and just let UA-cam put the first letter of your name as your profile picture (F). Believe me, any of those are better than what you have now. My sister, you might not think of it as much at all, but it's Haram, and I'm your Muslim brother, and I care about you as my Muslim sister just as I would my own sisters, whom have the same parents as myself. And therefore want nothing but the best for you in this life and the next, because we will be asked about everything we do in this life. Besides, if I were you, (I'm a man btw, lol, just clarifying ha)I wouldn't want any men looking at me as flesh for personal pleasures, but as a respectable and respectful, and honorable Muslim woman, whom is Protected By Allah for doing the right thing, for doing What He Decreed that I should do, and the opposite is true. Please don't be upset at what I said, I meant no harm.

I Love Allah I'm been a Muslim since 1996 and I love the way Mufti Menk explains the Laws of the Quran my heart is so happy for learning about myself and Allah
Asalamuwalaikum Sheikh. Allahumma barik laha. SubhanAllah that you acknowledged the head-nod when someone of the Sunnah decides somehow another person doesn’t deserve a response.
As an English revert in a predominantly white area where I rarely see Muslims, when I do see a Muslim i get so happy see them and give a genuine salaam, only to be met with not even a head-nod but completely ignored, it hurts more than they could comprehend.
Alhamdullilah that I was Guided, I love Allah swt and my religion and would take the sacrifices that have come with it all over again. But I’m tarnished on a daily basis, verbally, and a few times physically, attacked by English people They call me a traitor. It’s a test, but alhamdullilah it makes my faith firm. So when I see another Muslim, and they do that, it makes me feel like I don’t belong anywhere. My ‘own’ people have disowned me, including my family and friends, and I feel as though those of the Ummah don’t take me serious. I wear hijab with pride 💖 I wear Islamic-wear as a representation of my love for the guidelines that have been set for us, alhamdullilah. There’s no denying I’m Muslim visibly, the only difference is the colour of my skin and how that comes with prejudgments (I’ve not married into Islam, by the way) Many born muslims have somehow decided I’m not Muslim enough though, and that they somehow hold the key to Jannah. May Allah swt Guide us all. Ameen
I say this with all good intentions; there are so many sisters in this position it truly hurts to think that they feel this sense of neglect and abandonment too. It’s far deeper than just ignoring someone’s salaam. Please don’t be the reason someone cries tears on their prayer mat. Allah swt sees and hears all.
