These are great. I could play a straight melody, but knowing the chords is going to improve my playing. I like to play in bluegrass jams, but haven’t had much of the bluegrass sound.
Good explanation, only I would like to see where you put your fingertips. So a different camera - angle would be a great solution in all of your teaching video's. Thanks.
your video's are so welcomed , you have help so many beginning fidlers, some day if you fine time love to see a break down of garry owen a civil war song, thank you so much bless you
Thank You, it’s a fun job! 😃 Be sure to check out www.jkleinberg.com/fiddlehed/ for free sheet music, mp3s, exercise loops and other useful stuff! And thanks for watching! Good idea! I put this on the request list. Because this is a free channel I only have so much spare time to devote to creating videos and content which means it might take a long time to get to your request. Tunes that are frequently requested will be favored.
Oh, man! I can't get my first finger onto the A spot on the G string without pressing down on the D and getting no chord. Think I need shoulder rest that is reverse of my present one so I can more "verticalize" the fiddle. I do enjoy your lessons and have learned a lot.
Your lessons are SUPER helpful! You make learning how to play fun and doable. Thank you! Please keep 'em coming!
This chord series opened a door in my very early fiddle journey. Thanks.
