Nice messenger bag ( again ) I’m shopping to replace my 2 older major messenger, however, tho everything are nice leather But the problem is usually the bottom width. Should at least 4-5 inches. Majority you can’t put anything more otherwise it will be bulky Finally I found & like one from “ the leather store , Seattle” which you featured before Cool designs & hardware. Thanks 🎉❤️👍

+Paul Lawary Paul if you must use it in the rain, and you certainly could, you will first want to treat it wth MinkOil paste, which will make it virtually waterproof, neatsfoot oil has no water resistance.
Hi there I've done quite a bit of research on Kendal & Hyde and apparently their bags aren't shipping on time with some people having delays of over 10 months. I was wondering if you could recommend me some other companies that do SBL type bags like the thin front pocket briefcase but with vegetable tan. Thank you, really appreciate your suggestions.
Jafar, probably the closest to SBL would be Kendal & Hyde, in fact their bags are made in the same factory as SBL in Mexico. Some K&H briefcases are sold in online forums and FB leather enthusiasts and sales and trading groups, so you might want to check in those places. Otherwise you might want to look at White Buffalo Republic or The Leather Shop, both have vegetable tanned front pocket style briefcases.
I was reading the reddit subforum on K&H and apparently their business practices have been very shady lately (recent as of the past few weeks). Even heard cases of people making orders and not receiving the bag for over 10 months! Unfortunately really because I was looking forward to their classic attache (preorder) but now after reading all the comments about K&H I'm going to go with White Buffalo Republic. Same bag actually =) How has the bag been so far after extensive use? Also do you have any recommendation for notepad/large sized journals that are also vegetable tanned? I've looked at the SBL ones but from personal experience I just can't deal with anything apart from vege tan. My grovemade portfolio case for the 6s has been with me for almost a year now and it's simply amazing. Has a really nice dark patina to it now. Sorry to be asking lot of questions but do you know if beeswax would restore the lighter maple color of my case?
+Jafar Uddin I have been using my WBR bag (not the one in the video, but exact same model) for about three years. It is holding up beautifully, it has darkened in color, and become softer with use.. A fantastic bag for the price.
Thanks for the info! I'm quite excited about getting the bag. Apparently the lifetime warranty doesn't apply to retail locations so I contacted them about whether or not Etsy counts as a "Retail location".
Leather Built should be ashamed of their craftsmanship. Some of the stitching barely catches the leather edge. Jim I think you gave them a pass. You need to call it like it is, and the workmanship here was shoddy. Love your videos and I appreciate them, though.
