bro is showing the editing process epic love it not a lot of channels show process and when they do it's mostly a short video ( I know this is an old video now but this has helped me in considering buying LumaFusion on my Chromebook)
Great video, I got luma fusion on my Chromebook back when it from first came out, and uses it a few times to edit videos. It worked fine for editing videos, but like you it kept crashing when I would render the videos. So now I just shoot/film and record my videos on my Chromebook but I edit them on my gaming pc using DaVinci resolve 18 after im done recording on the Chromebook. But I do plan on just recording and editing youTube shorts using luma fusion on my Chromebook. I just dont think luma fusion or chromebook can hardle the work load that a normal PC video editing software can. Hopefully they make a pc version of lumafusion. Its interesting that I find it easy to record videos on my Chromebook vs my pc. I think the Chromebook camera recorder is just better then trying to record on pc.
Never thought about the camera on the Chromebook being better, I suppose, because it's simplistic. And I do like Lumafusion and the Luma touch team that makes it. But as much as I think a desktop version would be great, I think they want to be known as the best mobile editing software out there than anything else. That is unless Chromebook users become a significant portion of their user base. So, since you have a gaming laptop, can I assume that gaming and video editing are the main things keeping you from a Chromebook being your solo machine? Or are you happy with how things are?
@@psalmistpro2554 , I use a Logitech stream cam or elegato stream cam, and a USB dynamic microphone when I record on my Chromebook. Chromebook is the main thing I used. I have a chromebox 3 which is a Chromebook desktop. It's just my gaming PC edits faster. I only used the PC to edit video outside of that I don't really use my PC. But to be brutally honest, a high end Chromebook with a i5 or i7 in my book is a waste of money to me. Because with those processors in the Chromebooks. They still can't do half of the things that a gaming laptop can do with the same exact specs. Because if a i5 or i7 Chromebook struggles to play games the truth of the matter is that it's just a money grab for Google. My Chromebox which is a Chromebook desktop has a i5 and I put 20gb of ram in it and it still crashes when rendering videos in luma fusion. What does that tell you about a high end Chromebook? I love the Chromebook OS, That's why it's my daily machine and primary machine of choice. But the truth of the matter is they are limited and if somebody wants to do UA-cam videos or video podcast, a Chromebook cannot and will not get the job done as it relates to video editing. Now I do use luma fusion on my Chromebook to edit UA-cam short videos and It's wonderful for that. But outside of that anyone wanting to get into long form video will need to buy a gaming PC or laptop.
@@thesog3692 I see what you're saying; I always thought the issues with lumafusion were due to compatibility rather than power. I can't entirely agree with the video editing part in general. I edit my videos exclusively on my Chromebook. I also have a Mac I used to edit on and might use occasionally, but mostly, it's all done on my Chromebook. My videos are not a shiny example, but that's due to more of my skill than the Chromebook's capabilities.

Glad to have helped
