@@madslayer4197 Larger characters on average have done worse than smaller characters in the Smash Bros franchise, and Kirby has among the slowest airspeed in Melee. If you want someone to go into detail about these two, then I suggest you watch Asumsaus's videos on them.

To answer Joe's question on the difference between Link and Young Link, Link is slower and heavier, but his attacks do more damage, and Young Link is faster and lighter than Link, but his attacks are weaker. Young Link's arrows have fire while Link's don't, and I believe Young Link's grappler is a tad bit shorter than Link's. In my opinion, I'd say Young Link is the better character because he's more viable in competitive, but that's not me saying Link is a bad character, just pick the one that fits your playstyle more. (Or you can be like me and pick Marth.)
No offense to people who do agree with me, but I play smash with items. If I wanted to play something serious I’d play street fighter or Tekken. And I also prefer time to stock because then it’s about scoring kills instead of just avoiding the other players.
