I love Nina. I would vote for her in a heartbeat. I worry though, my suspicion is we still live in a deeply racist country. One thing we really missed from folks in the movement: Less attacks and criticizing other candidates, and more education. There were so many “liberals” standing behind candidates with decades of lies and deceits, or lack of real experience because they felt “safe” vs understanding M4A is possible. Someone I know watches MSNBC and brought up the talking point about Bernie's ideas being old. The simple rebuttal is that these ideas are solutions to problems that are also very old and still haven't been solved despite the solutions being out there for so long. To know a solution to a problem and have both the problem and the solution be old only makes it more egregious that the problem hasn't been solved already. It's no reason to stop trying to convince people to implement the solution. Most of these anti-progressive talking points are pretty vapid but no one is really given an equal platform to challenge the MSNBC hacks and too many people simply don't think about things at a deeper than surface level, perhaps because they're mostly trying to survive in a world where people only matter insofar as they can make money for themselves and for their employers. We wouldn't tie essential things for life to work if we valued people outside of the work they were able to do. That's a problem.
There are many places in NY State without internet connection. It is not an issue of rural America it is an issue of corporate greed. Federal money was distributed to the cable providers to connect the community but it was never completed.

One time when I was really high, I had a mental image of one of those funny sleep hats and I was trying to tell the people I was with about the image in my head but it was so funny that I couldn't stop laughing long enough to even tell them what I was laughing about. I literally laughed until tears were running down my cheeks, my gut was in pain from laughing so hard, and I still couldn't tell them what was so funny. When I was finally able to tell them, it didn't strike anyone else nearly as funny as it had struck me. The next day, my ab muscles were sore from laughing.
The people protesting to open their states up probably need to work to keep from going under. If the government would pay people to stay at home, these protests wouldn't have legs.

As of today, Covid-19 cases are now 930K and 52,546 deaths in the United States and the fragile ego and incompetence compels Trump to insist he is doing a great job. Remember when he said the numbers "would drop to zero". Trump supporters that found community in their hatred of everyone else are now themselves afraid because of trump's selfish choices. Your anger nor your Qrazy conspiracies will ever win the minority elected Trump a single new vote. Remember the majority of Americans didn't vote for trump the last time. The families, the friends and the co-workers of the deceased and the 24+ million unemployed will have a very hard time voting for the denier and chump Trump.
