This show seems much smaller than it was in years past. I wasn’t able to attend due to a family emergency, so thank you for recording and posting the video.
Great coverage of the content, many-thanks (O scale seemed under-represented, but I guess those are the economics of the hobby...)! If you happen to run into anyone looking to sell a menards york Royale hotel, I've been looking to buy one ever since you covered it in one of your previous videos. ;-)
I attended '24 Trainfest on Sunday. The highlights were watching children operate controls at a display tailored for kids (pure joy) n meeting the owner/developer of Virtual RR! Both he n his wife (?) were enchanting n uber-friendly! Of course, displays were gigantic n awesome n the industry leaders in supplies/trains were great, too! Fun 2 hrs...😂🎉
Thank you for posting this Papaville! Wanted to go but was hunting this weekend. Was worried at the start as there wasn’t many people or kids (I remember going to Trainfest as a kid and remember lots of people). But definitely looked a bit better by noon in your vid
Thank you for videoing Trainfest. I have been going there for years but unfortunately I had to leave for a business trip so I couldn’t make it to the show this year . I was very much bummed. Hopefully next year. Thank you so much.🚂🚂
Enjoy your video of Train fest thank you for taking the time to film the show. Good job. I have a question. What was the name of the parts vendor that you showed in your video? Thank you, Mike.
If it’s the vendor, I think you’re talking about that would be Trainz.com. They’re much more than just a part vendor They sell new and old sets. They basically buy people’s collections and resell them and many people have parts in their collections .
I thought that surely at a big show in Milwaukee there would be some American Flyer there but all I think I saw was three American Flyer baseball caps next to the Marx you stopped to look at, but there at the very end you showed the O gauge The Royal Blue. I have the S gauge version which I think has the identical shell to the one you bought.
Thank you for sharing this. It looks like a lot of manufacturers are there. I am a small startup making animations and should have gone to this instead of the Edison show.
Thank you for sharing this I was there too and shot a video! It was a lot of fun can't wait till next year!

I might go to the Milwaukee trainfest next year

If I see one, I’ll post it in one of my videos. I’m going to look at someone with a large collection of Menards buildings very soon.
@@Pvilletrains excellent... fingers-crossed 🤞 and thanks again!

Packed by the time I left
Nice to see that the Overland Western group is still there. I’m a former member of SOME at MSOE
That sunken tug boat was part of an Australian mining display! That was impressive, too!
I'm glad you made it. It was a great show; good balance of vendors and layouts of all scales.
It was a fun show, thanks for watching.

Pretty cool 😎
Any of you Trainfest Fiends ever done a N-Gauge Christmas Layout.
Thank you for doing this! I was unable to attend and was very appreciative to get a tour with you.

Thank you for this video. Do you know the name of the vendors that had the circus trains? Thanks so much! Nice video!
Unfortunately not, sorry
That was rolling 20 hobbies out of Peru Indiana
@@edm3038 thank you!
What is the name of the company that sells that wire stripper?
You can pick them up on Amazon. I believe it’s called a Vista
Also on Amazon, it’s a lot cheaper. I saw them for as low as $10.
Where is your Cheese Head hat.???
Oh no, you’ll never see one of those on me. I’m a Chicago boy. GO BEARS , even though they really suck this year.
@@Pvilletrains Me too. Bears have fought hard to earn last place. :)
My wife always wants to come with me to these shows and then ask me if I have the money for all these cars I pick up. Or how much I paid for stuff.
I always get the third degree when I get home
the audio isn't coming out clear sadly
Unfortunately, I was having some issues with that but thanks for watching
@@Pvilletrains no worries glad you had a fun time at the event^^
Just imagine hearing a lot of whistles, clacks, and bells mixed in with crowd noise and it will be as if you were there. Good video nonetheless.
@JimmyLandPL you forgot, crying children
Wonder if it would have been better to cut out all the audio and just do a voice over when you got home? Maybe some soft background music?
You should have been there earlier, to do your video justice! To many people in the way!☹️
I was there in line when they opened the doors. It was just that many people there.
