I'm glad you mentioned the fact that this watch box makes those from Rolex look like an afterthought. We can see who appreciates their customers, as if we didn't already know.
i partially agree in the sense its nice to have higher quality packaging but at the sametime....that's all added to the cost. I'd rather the money spent be going to the watch vs the box...
So many of your comments resonate with me. I love the Skeleton dial Defy. I started collecting 3 years ago and have had quite a few lower end pieces while I’ve refined my tastes. This year I picked up a Zenith Pilot 40mm ltd edition of 250 pieces. Absolutely love it! Zenith is such a great brand.
Your channel reminds me of the London watch collector. And he makes one of the best watch videos on UA-cam. So we’ll done sir. Keep it up, you got a sub.
So I have been thinking about this watch more and more since I first watches this so I decided to sit in front of the TV on the floor so I could have an "IMAX" type viewing of it. The more I see this version, the more I prefer it to the classic blue dial. You also got me curious about the material in my Farer Leven Titanium. As you guessed, it is only grade 2 though I'll say the color of the metal is super gorgeous and has resisted scratches since I got it about 6 weeks ago. We''ll see how that goes. How is this watch keeping time Niko?
Been looking forward to this review & it didn’t disappoint. Lovely piece, I love the star rotor and the star on seconds hands too. The way they integrate their logo into the skeleton dial is a quality touch too and makes the watch unmistakably Zenith across the room. The date wheel is cool too, I love this watch and you definitely picked the best one. Thanks for the review and wear in the best of health.
Heiko Panzlaff at what point were we discussing movements within the Zenith range? Are we watching the same video? What is wrong with you? Aside from being a keyboard warrior. I was referring to the Defy dial and strap options available since that was the watch he was considering. What’s the el primero got to do with it? It’s a completely different watch. Congrats on sounding like a troll, you nailed it sir, take a bow.
Ein Kindheitstraum!!!! Hammer Materialien! Hammer Werk! Hammer Optik! Spielt locker in der Liga ,,AP und Patek,, mit....nur deutlich günstiger!!!!!!!!! Mega Empfehlung
Titanium is great for watches especially grade 5 which is more scratch resistant. Love the light weight, many people nowadays associate quality with heft / weight but for me it’s quite the opposite. I really can’t wear anything over 145 grams and really prefer the weight to be under 130 grams for maximum comfort on wrist. The watch needs to be there, but you should not really feel it’s there all the time like a lead ball, or a steel ball. Great piece and great bang per buck. Question: are the edges of the clasp well machined ? Some watches I owned in the past were titanium and as I think it’s harder to machine, they cut into my wrist as they were not machined smoothly and had sharp edges. Had to change the clasp for one with a stainless steel lining . In this case since the clasp is integrated it would not be possible , so that’s why I’m asking about the quality and machining of the clasp which I assume is fantastic like the rest of the watch ....Love the thickness too , great at under 11 mm. Very nice piece, original and like I already said , great value.
No sharp edges at all at this watch :) and yes the titanium holds up so well against scratches. Only thing I miss is a half link or an easy extension. I might get a rubber strap in addition for it.
Love how chill your videos are. Well made and to the point. Quality content. Just got an omega PO in so it will be a while before i add to my small collection of core pieces (explorer, iwc pilot, tudor black bay). I think a zenith might be the wild card watch im looking for in the future.

Great unboxing Niko! very comprehensive, without the suspense killing us as all the stuff along with the box is, at least for me, always interesting to see.Big props on the hour glass, and I love that you took the time to switch it over when the sand ran out ! The watch is super handsome. wear in good health and enjoy!
Nice watch. How do you wear all these watches? I love my watches, but I just can’t wear them all. I have a Rolex, that has been sitting in my drawer for the last year, unworn. You should look into Grand Seiko. They make wonderful watches.
Thank you so much :)! It is unfortunately really time consuming and I don't want to compromise the quality for more videos :)! Besides UA-cam I also have a full time job, so I can only work in the evening or during the weekends on the videos :(
So nice. Can you tell me how small the bracelet would go by removing all removable links? Wanting to get one for my wife but have to buy online only. She has a 6inch wrist
I really like the skeleton dial and integrated bracelet (but the bracelet strap looks good as well)! Congrats again! By how many years is the warranty extended after getting the free watch sevice?
Very nice! Any insight as to why there are two versions of this watch -- one where the escapement in the upper left is more visible, as opposed to your model where it seems to be more robust?
Wow, just noticed that now and I was wondering already why it is so hard to film the escapement for me :D. I will collect all questions and contact Zenith to find out the answer :)! Thanks for that :)!!!
Steel is better than titanium because it is easier to polish and satinize the surface of steel. in addition, titanium scratches much more easily. I wish the Defy was a steel watch, but I like heavier watches too.
Love the video, found your channel while researching for this piece...I accidentally stumbled upon this piece while watching another watch review.
