Hey everyone, it’s Derek from Nerd or Die, and I’m happy to bring you the setup guide for one of our most ambitious stream packages yet, Stone Fire.
Let’s get right into it.
Stone fire is a complete stream package that’s now available in the Nerd or Die shop in both an animated paid version, as well as a static free version. Let’s take a quick look at what comes in the full package.
The package was designed to make it easy to adjust the colors of the items included. So that you can choose the colors that best fit your theme.
First, we have an screen designs for the start of your steam… an intermission screen design… and an outro. All of which are animated, and allow you to customize the what icons and messages are included on your stream.
Next, the overlay includes individual items and preset layouts. Meaning you can add in you or overlay quickly, or use parts of the design as you see fit. It also has designs specific designs for League of Legends and DotA 2. These were designed with the intention to show as much of the game as possible.
Stone Fire also includes animated alerts that will work with pretty much any platform. The alerts with Muxy include a 1 click setup, as well as custom sound files. The package comes with WebM video files for each type of alert that you will need.
Last but not least, we have the panels - which include illustrated icons. All icons are found in the package download.
The free version of this package is also found on the Nerd or Die store. It includes static overlays as well as the panels. So, check out that item if you want to give this overlay a quick trial run.
Hey, is there any chance we could get a music symbol added to the icons that are available? I would love to have that for my song queue! I love the package and thank you so much for all the work you do.

Everyone is very kind - and I want to make sure that I say that a lot of the stuff I (Derek) put on this channel is the result of the team working together. In this overlay's case, Flisky definitely made something amazing.

also i'd love to make a request. a DESTINY 2 animate zstream layout with an advanced setup for youtube gaming and twitch. destiny 2's beta is estimated to be in july. so we'll get to see the game's full UI so you can create something matching. i'd buy that instantly! if you're interested and don't have access to the beta when it's live, dm me on tweeter.
also, just watched your latest VOD on twitch. you should absolutely be using cards. and you can and should get your website linked to your channel so you can directly promote it on your videos. and i'm feeling like a stalker lol
Hey i just recently bought ur package. I got one request: Is there any chance u can give me the "Newest Follower; Latest Tipper; Top Tipper" typed aswell as: "Last Subscriber"? Because i dont want to use "Top Tipper" and instead use "Last Subscriber" in the box. English isnt my native language, if u have trouble understanding me, i can try to better explain my request. Can you explain why I only can run one Obs Application? When I have Obs Classic installed, I cant open Studio (it instantly close it) But I want to record my Gameplay with Classic because it has better quality but I also want Studio for Streaming, do you have any solution to this? Sorry for bad english I suck :D

Get up to about 8 minutes in the video then have like no idea after that on what to do. Never used Streamlabs or Muxy before so very confused. Is it 1 or the other? How come when I put the Webm files on Streamlabs nothing shows up in the box when I test it? Some help would be much appreciated. Thanks
Update: Managed to get Muxy to work with OBS but whenever I press to preview on Muxy it doesn't show the animation, just the text.
i must be retarded. it always looks easy, but executing is a different story. the intermission folder isn't showing up.
my overlay cant loop because my computer cannot find the files. the files was png, not webm. please help me

@NerdOrDie Is there a way to edit the colors of the twitch panels to match the colors of in game overlay?
If you have some skills in Photoshop, you can open the 'blank' template, and add your own gradient color + icons (which are in the package) and text so it fits!
For someone who doesn't like green, the default colors sure look green lol
where do i get the text files that you added to where the top D recent D and recent follower?
ehm i just bought the animated version, and some of the icons aint here ?
I bought this, got it all setup. But some reason I cant get the starting stream into to show up while streaming, how do you get that to work
Can you change the newst follower to the latest Sub? I would love to see that happen...

I bought the animated version and I'm very pleased. I can not thank you enough NerdOrDie & Flisky for such an amazing stream package. hey NerdOrDie, i bough and downloaded that overlay :) looks pretty nice but... its not transparent ? i thought its my fault but then i downloaded the electro overlay and it worked so what can i do ?
Hi NoD! When I click browse to locate the txt files for each supporter (latest follow, latest tipper and top tipper), OBS immediately crashes. I'm deperate to get these updated so I can add them - any ideas what might be causing this? Thanks, Bara.
EDIT: I already have "Latest Follower Set" set up and working. I've now tried creating a new text source from scratch but every time I check the read from file box and click "BROWSE" - it causes OBS to crash. It ONLY happens when I click "Browse" and it doesn't matter whether I'm trying to duplicate the first text source or creating a new one. As soon as browse is pressed - crashhhh :(

How do I change the color of everything in xsplit? Its well explained for OBS but xsplit is a bit different.

hmm i can seem to change my custom text size to 272.. it wont go above 72 and there is no box to write that custom number in.
how would you set this up for Xsplit Gamecaster?

you really do some great work. but i'm over twitch. wish you would start doing some content meant for youtube gaming. even better, there are no good youtube gaming stream tutorials for advanced features. you create that video and i'd imagine it'll pull in some revenue.

awesome man! main reason i don't stream on yt gaming (my preferred platform) is because it's a lil behind twitch still, but more importantly i have to learn everything, don't have that time. a video tutorial would be fantastic.

Yes, yes you can - they've added a 'blank' video as well, so you can add your own text (asked them as well, but I bought it and checked afterwards)

Once you have downloaded it and installed it, don't forget to restart your computer.

This is just what I've been looking for - I've struggled finding a fantasy/medieval overlay that I could use in my stream and UA-cam videos - I think I found it! I will customize it to fit my brand, but that is just what I needed! An animated overlay, of this quality, with animated alerts AND custom sounds, for 10 bucks... you guys are incredible!

Look awesome mate! How did you get ASUL and Open Sans fonts to work? I've downloaded, extracted and installed them but they don't appear in the font list
BaranthusTV com thanks buddy - I just installed them and they were in the list - It may require a reboot. I did however do my text in photoshop instead, as I needed the right color on it and that is modified through OBS :)

I love it so far but I'm having a problem if someone could help me out. My overlay is the animated version but the Overlay has a background to it. you cant see through it I'm look through my setting but cant figure it out? Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Please thumbs up so people can see. Thanks

I got the animated version and am trying to get it set up but am having trouble getting the alerts to work properly getting it to read from file. There is no folder in my computer like you show for it to read from. How do I save those files from streamlabs to my computer? Any help would be greatly appreciated. 8:03 in the video above is the part in question.
You'll want to use StreamLabs program called StreamLabels. There's a ton of tutorials on setting it up and how to use properly if you haven't before.
