The first heat of the day saw Dustin Craven and Danny Davis in a battle for the ages. Dustin came out swinging and took a commanding lead in the first run and one run two, Davis couldn’t quite put together the run he wanted to force a tiebreak, giving Dustin the win and advancing him on to Finals Day.

If Danny didn't do that straight air he would have won the second round for sure
Reason Dustin won is because he set the first run. Then he went and stepped it up. Danny didn't pioneer as much as Dustin did, and that held him back at the end. As we saw last year, riders get more points for taking new lines and risks regardless of the outcome.
Too many people put importance on someones name for things like this.

yeah naw, the 7 was dope but you can't do a slam on two tricks and still win when the other guy had a flawless run. it should've gone to third round
