I just researched this and it’s horrifying. It was a ‘homeless’ shelter called Brother’s home, open in the 1980’s in South Korea. But it wasn’t just for homeless people. It was the equivalent to a concentration camp where they kept homeless people, disabled individuals, and ‘criminals’ (who were mostly wrongly accused). A lot of the people were young children who were kidnapped by police. Brother’s home was open for 12 years and over 500 people were killed due to the horrendous living conditions and literal torture they went through. Crazy sad and disgustingly similar to squid games

Just an FYI, the Safety of the Contestants in Toronto Canada drastically improved for the contestants because the mr beast team was made to comply by our laws to treat the contestants / workers on any production filmed in Canada in the safest and best possible way! Our union leaders and worker compliance officers were there on site, but there is still an ongoing investigation because there were issues with some staff members not getting enough sleep not getting adequate amounts of food you don't understand how we treat our workers we have very very strict rules which I'm sure the American team that was producing this absolutely hated but the drama that was going on in Toronto during filming had nothing to do with thejr treatmemt circumstances. Everyone was provided with food shelter psychological and physical Medical Care and still there's an investigation because of laws that the Beast company did not adhere to so when that report comes out you'll be able to see exactly what they were trying to get around for the cheapest way possible and the least responsible possible to their human contestants. This is another major reason I'm proud to be Canadian we treat our workers our staff members anyone that comes to visit us like we would treat our own family!!!✌❤🇨🇦

The only way to stop stuff like this from happening is to not make it profitable for them. No one watches it. It will send out a strong message that this will not be tolerated. For people who’ve never been in game shows or television industry. This all sounds completely normal and I think they’re just blowing it out of proportion because UA-camrs are not used to being on the TV industry. As someone who just very recently had a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) - Generally a person who experiences these kind of extreme injuries lose consciousness and certainly couldn’t scramble up after receiving such an injury. A TBI is a very serious injury, to the point where it could not be ignored, these injuries indicate damage to the brain and its structures - in my case it also caused delirium and an aneurism. I’m not here to doubt this persons claims, but calling being body checked/kicked by someone a TBI feels like a stretch.

The injuries are absolutely awful but I'm confused why fairness is being brought up? No one was given an advantage, a lot was based on luck, and that is how a vast majority of game shows work. Sounds like either people didn't read their contracts or that info wasn't included
also, the lady that had the brain injury, sounds like someone ran into her by accident? I'm not sure how that is Beast's fault, or did I mishear something? Can't stand the guy but a lot of these complaints seems like clout/money grabs to sue
@@starringhope9202 it’s not clout chasing with game shows that have strenuous physical activity disqualified contestants the production checks with everyone to see if they have any injuries.
It’s a competition show what did they expect just people wanting to get paid asking for a handout

For people who’ve never been in game shows or television industry. This all sounds completely normal and I think they’re just blowing it out of proportion because UA-camrs are not used to being on the TV industry. I’ve been on five different game shows and everything I’m hearing today sounds very normal. It’s just more maximized because it’s MrBeast.
This definitely is NOT normal there’s a reason why he wasn’t allowed to film the rest in the US.

As someone who just very recently had a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) - Generally a person who experiences these kind of extreme injuries lose consciousness and certainly couldn’t scramble up after receiving such an injury. A TBI is a very serious injury, to the point where it could not be ignored, these injuries indicate damage to the brain and its structures - in my case it also caused delirium and an aneurism. I’m not here to doubt this persons claims, but calling being body checked/kicked by someone a TBI feels like a stretch.

If I was a contestant that got injured and I saw a number calling that I may recognize as the MrBeast team I wouldn’t answer at all. Like you know how iPhone tells you who may be calling? The words “Maybe: MrBeast blah blah blah” probably showed up.

So I was on the show both in Vegas and Toronto! I will say I had fun! There was some things like happened but in all seriousness I felt like I always taken care of. I wish I could get interviewed by sources simply because it was not that heavily drama as what the media is picking up. I do agree jimmy should take down some rumors asap
