My mother never work over $500 week when she came to this country, she retired at 50 now past 6 years ago leaving my sisters and I with $7 million Estate in Brooklyn NY ….with that being said it’s not how much you make it’s how you manage your money. We thought all our kids how to manage money. Second we never push our kids out of our home . They leave when there are ready to buy a home.

I love this! And that’s my plan with my 16 year old. I want her to have good footing when she leaves home. Unfortunately, I had poor money management but these videos have inspired me to do better. They have taught me that while tithing is good and right God will bless me according to how I manage the 90% he leaves me with.

That last sentence is key! That is literally FBA's problem. Kicking your children out at 18 without proper preparation is trauma. I'll never forget my DAD telling me on my 16th birthday I had to be out by 18.

I like her tactic…I’m planning to quit my job this year and it will be a significant decrease in pay. However, the only debt I’m dealing with is student loans - which will be waived completely next year as long I’m in a government or non-profit job. I am not flashy and I’m into practicing minimalism in order to travel and see other places. A lot of people can’t understand my thought process, and I’ve stopped trying to explain, but it is MY journey that keeps me content ❤

To manage investment risk, consider maintaining a broad diversification of your investments that reflects your personal risk tolerance, time horizon, and the nature of your financial goal. Remember, diversification is an approach to help manage investment risk. It does not eliminate the risk of loss if security prices decline. Because investing can be complicated, consider working with a financial professional to help guide you on your wealth-building journey.

I discovered your channel September 2022 while I was on sick leave and you have really inspired me on my debt free journey. Back then I was in 5,600 debt. Now six months later I only have $1360 to go. I paid off $3500 two weeks ago using money on my back account that was being held by the same institution which I had no access to because if the loan so I thought what if I could transfer that money to pay off the loan...I made a phone call and yup it could be done so I went in. I was left with 300 in my savings account but it feels so great to be free of that debt.
I'm so excited that I can't wait to reach my emergency fund and investment Level
Thanks again and God bless you and your team.💖🤗

Great show! I want to clear up that you do get TA education benefits as an Air Force Officer. The only difference is, is you extend two years after the date of your last class. Currently doing that now. My contract ended this May of this year but since I don’t finish my masters degree till dec of this year, I can’t get out until Dec of 2025
If I had finished my degree in my first two or three years, I wouldn’t have had to extend my time.
Also she could’ve done basic training for officer selects (OTS) after getting her degree… it’s 6 weeks long just like enlisted basic training.

And it was a school counselor that recommended this college. Additionally, a key for helping me in buying is determining a need bw a want and doing a lot of things myself instead of paying someone else.

Maybe it’s just me but after watching the interview, I still don’t understand how she achieved her worth. There was a lot of come sense being stated, but what exact steps did she take?! I heard she paid off debt, she worth 6 figures, and doesn’t work; I’m so confused…

I agree. I was listening for the actual steps (e.g. saved 40% of income etc.). However I still learned from this discussion.

She didn't buy her first car in college either. She never lived beyond her means. She always lived below.

      1. She had no college debt=military benefits.
      2. She bought and paid off her house. Property is probably now worth in the high six figures=equity(she's worth six figures, i.e., her assets). Look up home equity!
      3. She's an entrepreneur as a financial therapist(you hear her talk about the clientele she works with) and set her own schedule = She doesn't work for anyone.
      4. Is debt free= very little debt.
      5. Lives below her means = doesn't spend on extravance(doesn't flex on social media, no expensive car, etc).
      6. She's on the show to sell her product while dropping some gems.

This is my favorite convo AO. I can’t be on board with promoting the rat race that you usually see on SM. She’s my type of “influencer” and I’m biased because we’re both flygirls. I love the way she thinks. I’m going to enjoy life. It’s truly a marathon, not a sprint. Btw she seems like a good catch AO😉
