The "hushbah" play is a spain pick and roll, and its designed to put the big's defender in confusion, instead of the regular pick and roll where they can drop and contain. The additional screen, say from d book, is meant to allow the big who set the first screen to roll, then book flares to the three point line with his man trailing, as he has to tag the rolling big man... its really cool that u noticed this clever set... most times it goes under the radar
That was such a dumb thing to say about Mitchell, I don't even like the guy like that but Paul was trolling with his "high-five" shit after Mitchell missed the FT so Mitchell told him to fuck off...
4:28 notice that the Jazz set up the screen a bit father from the line. This probably made Saric be closer to the line than to the paint. Gobert then freely and rushingly rolled to the paint for an assisted dunk.
I love basketball and would watch basketball any day over anything and this IS satisfying to watch. It's straight art plus I love this guy, he's hilarious 😂
These videos are genuinely amazing. I'm a relatively new NBA fan at 21 and have almost zero basketball experience. It's nice to learn about one of my hobbies and what might be going on, on the floor.
Love how detailed these breakdowns are, makes me realize I don't even notice some of the intangibles and I even watched this entire game. Much respect dude love your channel much better quality than a lot of these basketball youtubers out there! Edit: Never noticed mitchell disrespecting the point god after he to tried to dap him up
Just leaving a mark to say I stumbled across this goldmine of a channel before it blows up and my buddies reference one of your videos. You're videos are seriously primo.
I can ultimately say that having longer videos from you is great, if you decide to keep doing them. It's nice to have smaller vids that focus more on just a couple minutes of the game, but even better to have videos covering more game time of matchups that you find particularly interesting. Plus, more algorithm-friendly lmao
The back screen for the ball screener the suns use is a concept known as "Spain pick and roll" really effective and requires alot of communication to defend
I love your videos man. I used to just watch highlights but your videos show the depth of basketball and made me appreciate well plays rather than crazy dunks.
these are so good keep it up man. so much more to basketball than just scoring and dunking. That baskscreen by booker to get cam johnson that 3 at the end of the game shows real basketball iq. He understood they were paying too much attention to himself(booker) so he made a basketball play, that was my favorite highlight I remember watching the game live and seeing that and thats what seperates Booker from being not good but great!!
This dude has to be the most underrated basketball youtuber. HE should have atleat 100k subs. NO OTHER CHANNEL DOES THIS (ATLEAST THOSE THAT I KNOW OF)
Another great breakdown. Daniel - it would be cool if you added a little more illustration or 'telestration'... sometimes you go through pretty quickly and it is hard to see what you are pointing out. Like showing one screen followed by another, or saying a player's name but moving the clip forward before the viewer can lock on to where they are in the frame. Just my two cents. Cheers.
I don't think Mitchell it's a bitch for declining CP3 high five. The guy is shooting free throws, CP3 probably just wants to take him out of his routine
Great vid n commentary mah dude!!! Btw, we all know as competitors we aint gonna hand five/shake our opponents hand after we missed a free throw. Haha 🤣
I’m a high school basketball player going to the 10th grader. My goal is to be the greatest basketball player and your videos definitely help me understand the game more
Is it just me or has everyteam Chris Paul's been traded to recently instantly become THAT much better. Of course not saying he takes all the credit but it's like 'winning' follows the man everywhere
I think 1-4 is for the shape of the alignment, where the ball is isolated and the 4 remaining players are lined up with each other as a base formation. idk if it's called 1-4 offense or 1-4 high in "tactical terms", but here it was on an inbound play anyways
5:27 Ingles is already in too deep. There’s three guys collapsing on him so it wouldn’t make sense for him to continue dribbling. Mitchell is unguarded but not open and he needs to move to create a passing lane for Ingles.

Connecting a play that *could have* happened in 2021 to an unrelated play that happened in the 2014 Finals is next level. Great job, man.
cool
I thought the same thing, blew my mind
that was a very spot-on example, the scenario was perfect and accurate

CP3 messing up with Mitchell pretending to be a teammate is just Genius ahha
Nah. Cp3 was trolling. High five for missing 😆
that was hilarious
Yeah I wouldn’t call Mitchell a bitch for declining the high five 😂
gotta love him
I would’ve declined it too. Definitely Trolling lol
1:08 that play is called the spanish pick and roll cause spain used it alot during their fiba world cup and it was unstoppable
It's crazy how effective the Spanish Pick and Roll is.
No one expects the Spanish pick and roll
I'm pretty sure some nba teams also call it "stack".
just call it spain lol
@@Inter_Are it’s a very common set today it’s just very hard to defend without really good team communication

Dang thanks for pointing that out. I'm glad you were able to clarify this.
Damn you really had to do mitchell like that LMAO
Yup he did, Suns are 2-0 against the Jazz this season. Sit Down Utah
idk why but i hate mitchell

I dont think CP3 was trying to be nice bro everyone who knows him knows that he just made fun of Mitchell lmao
As someone who doesn't know much about basketball, these videos are so satisfying to watch. Good fucking job

CP3 was such a great add to the Suns. He's a fantastic floor general
CP3 was not tryna tell mitch it was all good, he was tryna dap him up for missing the ft lmaooo
this channel mad underrated. Keep going man, you’ll get far

@christopher pfeiffer not when 55% of the shots are 3s😕 pretty boring watching a bunch of bricked 3s

Cp3 has been my favorite player since I've started watching basketball like 12 years ago. He seems so petty, but it's really strategic.
Man, I love this channel. Keep grinding bro. You’re gonna be big.

Never thought I will see an 2014 clip here lol how did you remember an exact same play happened in 2014 are u Lebron

The hashbah game play you showed at the beginning called Spain pick and roll I guess
What a find with that Spurs Heat game, miss those daye
so drop in pick and roll action is means the big drop always protected the paint not too close to the ball-handler?
