Hi Debra! I was thinking of moving my expenses over to Capital One months ago, but I’m glad I kept them in my main banking account. I may get my buffer moved back from Capital One as well. The use of sinking funds has helped me not dip into my emergency fund, so I agree with how important they are 🤑

Capital One has been a wonderful bank over the years, I just don't know what happened. I always keep my funds in more than one bank. You never know when something crazy is going to happen.

This is exactly why I just use capital one for my emergency fund only, my bill account is local.. .. that was crazy..thank God all my bills for the month because I would have been messed up if I had a bill due and had capital one as my primary account..always keep a cushion folks, I’m low income ( disabled)and in march I’ll open a miscellaneous fund..

I am sure a lot of people had issues with their account. I only keep my savings in Capitol One and I am glad I didn't have any major issues with them. Great advice!

Great video, Debra!! I've been trying to slowly add sinking funds over the years because I find them slightly overwhelming. Our most recent is Christmas & I think it will make a big difference in improving our peace with finances.
I love the way you explain concepts. Excellent job putting money side for your sinking funds!

I saw those messages from Capital One when they were down. That was scary for some. I have multiple accounts at different banks for that reason. Great job stuffing your sinking funds. Great video.
