We met Glenn this past January. He did a couple of great workshops at our Wisconsin Maple Syrup Producers Association Winter Institute. Enjoy your videos so much!!!!!
Awesome vid, I used to help my uncle in the 60,s collect sap with a horse drawn sleigh, you are an inspiration to the maple producer's across the north American landscape. Keep up theses vids as they instill the concept of the American dream as result of Hard work .

Meet Glen at the NYS maple conference, 1st yr in Syracuse. Went to his seminar on high Brix/ high concentration, just for information and for laughs. Needless to say, we just finished our 4th season and made 180 gallons. Both you and Glen have made quite the investment. Really enjoy watching your new “shanty” come together. Thanks for sharing!!
This video gave me goosebumps!! I had no idea that Glenn was this big and I've never really heard of Goodrichs' back in my Vermont days in the 70s and 80s....not in Cabot anyway. I did meet Glenn about 4 years ago at the Cabot location while he was doing their tours for the public....very nice guy as well as his wife, Ruth. I can see the roof of their sugar house from my grandparents old house as well as my camp just up the road in Marshfield....I can also see the house from their sugar house as well lol. As for maple in coffee, I thought I was one of the only ones that did that! Lol I'll drink it no other way! With that said, I go through A LOT of maple syrup. Like a gallon a month!

I always wondered what happened to Glenn and his Sugarbush. He made two videos the first two years he started this 6k acre project but hasn't posted anything since. I'm glad you went over there and made this video so we can see where he is with this project. Again great job Nikki and God bless you and your family.
Well, this is too funny. I'm sitting here eating a small piece of Cabot Extra Sharp Cheddar cheese with my coffee. What's in the coffee? Maple Syrup and Hazelnut creamer. This operation, as to # of trees tapped, makes me wonder how many trees are tapped further North in VT on Rte 114 between Island Pond and Canaan. I pass miles and miles of lines all gravity fed to tanks along the hill sides. Awesome video!!!
At about 5mins in the video where does Glenn get the tri clamp sight glasses for that tank? I’ve been looking and looking and can’t find those anywhere.
Thanks for bringing us along! I love seeing/visiting various sugar shacks. If you’re ever in Maine, check out Hill Top Boilers in Newfield, ME., another wonderful operation. Keep up the great videos!
Thanks for tuning in! I’d love to tour a bunch of different places - if you know of any sugar makers who wouldn’t mind me touring and videoing their place let me know! Preferably north as Its tough to get away while our season is in progress.

Nikki, this tour reminds me of a question I've had but never have asked ( although it may have been answered in the past ) , approximately how many acres of woods are you using that contain the 30000 taps ?
