I really want to do UGC but I also sell life insurance but … it a slow process to income wise right now . I say this to say I don’t want clients to run into the videos . I need to make some money but I also am trying to be taken serious as a business professional on financial side .

So if I didn’t purchase a product but I add it to my showcase if someone purchases it from my showcase do I receive a commission? Or do I have to do a video first to receive commission?
You have to make the video first and if they click and shop through your video, then you get a commission

I was approved to sell on TikTok shop I do have hair oils that I am making and will be selling, but then when I came time to post my brand, it said that I need a trade mark name and I am stuck in ID me as well as it could take up to a year to be able to get a trademark
Someone shared this video with me today after helping me register for a TikTok Shop. This video was sooo thorough, understandable and easy to follow. I TRULY appreciate you sis! WOOOOW! Such a blessing especially since you have only been doing this for 4 months. This is a PERFECT video for a beginner. My only question is about a system notification that I got after linking my shop to my TikTok profile. Should I not link the accounts as it specifically says, "You won't earn commission from selling the shop's products." Did I do something wrong in linking the accounts? What should I do now? Thank you for responding. I think the message means that I can't sell products but not that I can't get commissions as an affiliate. I don't know. It's confusing. The message was under "system notifications."
@@FloElkins1maybe watch the first 'how to' video. I know the linking is mandatory and hopefully you didn't fill out the 'shop' info because in the video she was clear on that point.

I started signing up for affiliate account under sellar app and for some reason i missed a step and it’s making me post a product and that’s not what I’m trying to do. How do I correct that? I don’t have products to post. I just want to become and affiliate.
I am in the same situation as you are. I've actually posted videos with linked products but for some reason they're not showing up in my shop icon. People cant see the icon when they're watching the video, but it says "paid commission." Currently lost and frustrated.
Hi I have been doing a lot of research into this tiktok shop affiliate "work around for less than 5,000 followers and It seems that this was not meant to be for affiliates to use they had opened up the feature so sellers that were running shops and selling items on tiktok shop could promote their own products but once everyone started going straight into affiliate and not selling products they have been blocking them from using the feature or just shutting down and closing their accounts I know a few months ago this was a work around that worked but if you are trying to use this method and running into issues maybe it's because they still are going to require affiliates to meet the 5,000 followers no matter how they access the affiliate platform? How do you post the video if you don't have the product?
So, here comes another silly question for you. How do I add the shopping cart link to my post when I want to sell a product? Say I have bought something from TTS and now I have created a video of the product and I want to add the shopping cart link to that video so others can click on the link and it takes them straight to the product on TTS. I see how to add a "link" but I want a shopping cart link. Do I not have that option because I don't have 5K yet?

Thank you sis for always dropping gems for us. I have a couple of questions. I created my first video and added the link to the product cause that’s what you said to do 😊. I noticed that when I see the link added on my page it doesn’t say Shop like if I were to go to your page and see the link that’s what I see. On my page it shows the link but doesn’t say shop. Is that because I created it and the consumers will see Shop on their end and when they purchase they’ll just click that link? Also, to get your earnings, you must fill out the information from asking for name on bank account, address , email and dob then the next page is asking for tax info to get earnings, such as name, address, US TIN (SS#), is this correct and what I’m suppose to do? I just want to make sure I’m doing the right thing and not go to TikTok jail. 😂😂😂

Yes you cabs have multiple TikToks but it’s hard to get multiple tiktok shops and yes I follow a lot of pages that do not show their face but they show the product or they do green screens
