When I reply to comments yes I have the product or image in an overlay or green screen. Creating green screen/overlay requires editing in the app. Not something we could explain in comments

I speak in my content and show my personality that way. I’ll also be diversifying my content but people see my personality ALOT through my shopvideos! 😂

Great Information and very inspiring interview with Jessica! Thank you both! Quick question: Can I delete and simply start over? I'm not sure I started correctly trying to connect to an account so I can start affiliate marketing without 5000 followers. It did say I connected successfully however but then I immediately received a violation stating I was "Missing Supporting Materials" and got a 30 day funds freeze. I appealed as I have no Idea what they are referring to but it was denied. Just wondering if I should simply delete all accounts and start over? I want to rock this as soon as possible. Looks like the best online opportunity I've seen thus far. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

I went the new seller business account route and then connected my TikTok (under 5K followers) - received a violation notice but I think it was for the seller shop(which I’m not doing) I just want to do the TikTok shop affiliate. I see I can still link products and it’s showing me my funds/views. Do you think it’s okay to just keep going and posting videos or should I disconnect my account to my TikTok shop and create a new account?
They recently are closing accounts doing that now so I’d really focus on getting 5K followers! There’s lots of ways to go about that!

Now I have two options under monetization. It shows "TikTok shop for creator" and "TikTok shop for seller." Can you confirm which option I should choose? Thank you for your time!
Seller. You can’t do creator. It will tell you that you don’t have enough followers❤
You say just make another shop can you have multiple w same id ?
One ID. One passport. And then EIN numbers (which are free)!

I wonder if these same strategies can be used in the United Kingdom as well I’m seeing a lot of videos of people just completely exploding on TikTok shop US but how much of this applies to the UK market as well? Hi! You would use the same strategy. Check the videos doing well, see what it shows for the UK market, and replicate those!

What’s the strategy for people who want to become affiliates and have less than 5K now? I applied with a new account earlier in the month and was approved for a shop when I wanted only to be an affiliate.
It’s a totally new account. I asked TikTok how to switch my account in fear of getting banned but no answer. So I haven’t touched it.
Not sure what to do. Should I just create content on a fresh account and make it to 5K followers then apply? Use it as a free practice account and promote or feature products anyway? Or will

Yes AND TikTok has shut down these type of accounts UNLESS you actively sell something. If you do it, stay off TikTok’s violations radar😅

I got a violation and the video taken down for having product on screen and not in hand. In December, I was able to do it just fine, so I think it might have changed.
There could have been other factors. Not clearly mentioning functionality and usage. Still frame will little human interaction. The ones I started with in November wouldn’t work now. I have more interaction now and speaking about product benefits, features, etc.

From sellers or Amazon so I get it faster and if they’re on TikTok shop. I pay out of pocket that way but it’s come back to me 100 fold. It’s about choosing the right product!
Oh okay, so you post products from Amazon or other companies on your tiktok seller shop and you make videos that have the link to the products on your seller shop correct? And that's how you make commissions is from Amazon or other sellers outside of tiktok? So basically you're just utilizing the TT seller shop in order to sell products from elsewhee like Amazon correct or do we get in trouble for selling Amazon products through our tt videos?@@iamjessicaparada

My husband got an instant violation when he opened his. It took 30 days to be removed before he could start TikTok shop. You can start another account with a passport or EIN number.

youre probably getting puerto rican views on affiliate link videos. its a glitch tiktok has rn. its random accounts but renders them useless. check your analytics of an affiliate link shop video. go to viewers tab and see if its PR or USA
There’s a glitch right now so just keep posting. I have seen TikTok wanting creators to niche down to product categories and create diverse content. Before it used to be great to create multiple shop videos a day. NOW they recommend that for sellers mainly

It was possible last week but now TikTok fixed that and you now have to meet the required followers to be eligible for the TikTok Shop Affiliate Program. And anyone can get success even on their first video, you just need to understand how the algorithm works

Not anymore, TikTok just recently fixed that and you can no longer connect to TikTok Shop Affiliate Program unless you meet the required followers

I haven’t seen anything around this. I have several people using the business account route and just started last week and making money already!
You’re signed up as a seller so you could sell your products or other brands products.
I ALWAYS say growing your personal brand is VERY important for long term so focus on that as well as monetizing with TikTok shop as a business account now. The sooner you start, the better!
