Sorry, but I'm not buying this reporting at all. We've seen it time and again, they publicly announce these moves but then proceed to quietly double down. Look up BRIDGE. That's what they're moving on to now. They're playing a game of "technically we're abandoning DEI, so that's true, but we're adopting BRIDGE instead which is even worse."
Absolute true. They have integrated their Woke Department into the company and have officially dissolved the department, but their functions remain. This is all just deception for the masses.
Fuck DEI, it’s just a way for companies to place all of us in a stereotype box. Just because I happen to be dark skinned does not mean I wanted every black character to have that SBI dread haircut (you know the one I’m talking about 😉)
Have Kirsche on to talk about BRIDGE, she's the foremost expert in this subject at the moment. But even though it's just being automated more secretly, it's still a win to have pinko bastards lose their jobs imo.
Should possibly contact Kirsche as she has gone indepth on BRIDGE as well that these current DEI cuts are just tactical retreats as the companies still push the policies/ideologies in the company. It's a way to make us and the normal people looking at this to think it's going away finally when it really isn't. Also, this is being done to prevent current lawsuits going on in the industries due to these jobs and ideology going against several laws on hiring.
I wouldn't really say it's harder to spot - people are panicking a bit too much here. The result is always seen in the products, services, communications/marketing, etc...so it'll still be just as obvious even if you can't pin it on one fat blue hair bitch in HR.
My flight was cancelled due to planetary collapse of the system caused by some Microsoft "virus update" 2 days ago. Down with the woke recruitment, long live meritocracy!
I know someone that took a job as a diversity and inclusion officer. Had no oversight for like a year, never even really had her role explained. Eventually head office did a review, wanted the branch office to explain her role and to explain what she had done for like the last year. She had nothing to show and went off sick, then resigned which said a lot. Was chatting to my wife about it, and I explained that this job existed to be nothing but a thorn in the side of the company, and this person was to all intents and purposes too kind and naive to understand that she was supposed to be in there throwing her weight around and finding, or even making up excuses to find problems that then needed fixing. Some of these companies create the DEI job roles and departments without even really know why they are doing it, and to do the job you can’t be a naive do-gooder. The role is created for ruthless people that actively want to cause trouble, AKA activists.
@@smackheadedsqueakyweasel4624 But people and companies were still taking risks then. With products, film, etc everyone was trying to create the next best thing - much the same as decades before. A year later, the same posting was still out there on every major job hunting site. I wouldnt be suprised if it was still there now.
many of these companies that are saying they will remove DEI programs will likely continue to use them under a rebranded title but won't promote it so heavily in the media or on social media.
I think it's also being called BRIDGE, I&D, etc. They're cutting it because it's now part of the company as a whole, and doesn't need a department. Now the company, as a whole, is DEI.
The true source of the problem is E$G which are holding companies at ransom. What's even worse is those companies not having principles and just doing anything for money.
They may be eliminating the jobs, but that is only because these companies are moving it to being the job of everybody rather than one team. After all, Microsoft have stated they "remain comitted" to it.
@@adriant240 Oh yes, HR. There are so many of us out there who actually do know how to code, who had to hard-sell ourselves for years to get into the field. Their goal is to give opportunities to people who normally could not reach them. This of course has the knock on effect of allowing in people who are wholly unqualified for the job. For example: when was the last time you had to wait in a bank line to deposit or withdraw cash? - The jobs that are getting eliminated are the ones on the bottom. So, how is a person supposed to work, to gain the skills needed to get to a higher lever, if there is no longer a bridge to get there?
