Damn man, looking pretty sweet. I bet it sounds amazing. I'm upgrading my system too. In the last couple of years I went from 5.2.2 to 7.2.6. Going to be doing a subwoofer upgrade next year from 2 entry-level 10" subs to 4, Starke Sound SW-15s. Looking forward to that. Have fun with that monster setup!
Also its good to see you using box speakers for your heights instead of in-ceiling speakers. I feel like in-ceiling speakers are too much of a compromise. Not as much as the Dolby reflection speakers, but not as good as bookshelf speakers on an articulated mount.
I have a similar set up to yours the only big difference you have 3 1723 Towers I have two 1723 towers and the center and I went with the 1723 surround and Atmos speakers my home theater sounds incredible I just imagine how great your sound as well
dude , you are in big trouble with the teaser videos that Arendal is currently running . Arendal like all other companies have been selling their speakers as "end game " only to announce a new set of speakers that are beyond end game . 😂
Have you measured your side surrounds mounted upside down ? From the video they look a bit too high for optimal placement and separation from your atmos. I think either dripping their height or even just Mounting w the tweeter a bit closer to MLP ears would be better IMO But measurements will show you.
Thx tried it and would have wanted a little lower however angled them a bit firing to MLP. With the rear seating at height the rear surrounds would then be firing into the back of the seats. My room is not perfect and I agonized over this for a while. I also wish I had 9 foot ceiling to get some altitude with Atmos but sometimes have to make do with what we have. You have piqued my interest will see if I can install upside down and measure! Also if you notice the seating is all shifted the side surround would also then directly fire into the seat where someone head would be inches from the tweeter.
@@gameroomtheater yes. Tweeter slightly above the heads is ideal. Rear surrounds look good. Side was what caught my attention. From the video they look substantially above that. If it’s just video angle it’s all good. Measuring always reveals the right way to go was my “teaching point”. Great upgrade. Enjoy it fully. 👏
I sold the front three towers...still have the 4 in walls..and I left the Atmos ones in the ceiling as there would be a large hole to fill..just have them disconnected
Thank you very much for listening your equipment, enjoyed going through them. However, unfortunately you seemed to have left out what most people conveniently seem to leave out. The components that carry the signal. IDK maybe there's a reason.
No such thing as end game specially after this review ua-cam.com/video/2H6WD4kB3l4/v-deo.htmlsi=6nTvtJ6cJe6asWdp ... When it comes to speakers that are aimed for home theater you can choose whatever you want but if you want high dynamic range ( from lowest to highest sound ) at reference levels regular tweeters just don't cut it. You need compression drivers with horns or a waveguide of some sort. If you don't intend to listen at reference Cinema levels then choose whatever your ears like.
Thx for sharing I really enjoyed that review and the specifics, spent a few days with REW running sweeps and like seeing the detail out together in that video. Earned a subscription ☺️. You also raise some excellent and agreeable points.
The Arendal tweeter is installed in somewhat of a waveguide. Curious if it’s enough to reach a clean reference level. That said, cinema reference level in the home is far too loud anyway. Btw, I agree with the point you are trying to make for the most part, but there are some clever multi-tweeter arrays that will get you there as well.
It's got Perlisten DNA would you agree. Long live Dan Romer 😊. I definitely want to hear the Perlistens and my my bucket list to do so..but obviously a lot more $$
That “Bros” movie poster that says Coming Soon caught me off guard. I almost sent my soup out my nose.
Lol.. I just saw that 🤣🙈
I have Arendal and love them. They are frickin amazing.
Glad to see Arendal getting more and more love. I bought them a couple years ago and they are amazing!
There is no end game. Always something better!
Indeed it's the journey rather than the destination 😁🫡
Hahaha yes
these speakers are the exception to that rule

Great setup and welcome too the Arendal family 💪

Looking great Bro! Amazing speakers, they need to get those in-wall speakers coming soon.
Thx! That would really be ideal, the reason why I went with there smaller S speakers for the surrounds !

End game...the saga continues 🙈
They really are beautiful!
There it is =) Nicely done! Im happy for you man !! Where do I get tickets for a demo? =)
All Blue Jean Cables
Denon 3700.. Monolith 7 * 200.. Emotiva basx4 for atmos.... 7.2.4 Arendel 1723s LFC.. Arendal 1723s surrounds.. Arendal 1961s heights.. 2 Arendal 1961s Subwoofer.. Equals 😁😁😁
Damn you did good brother. Great setup!
Awesome thanks for the video!
Where did you find the aquarium screensaver?
Search for White Reef (4k) on UA-cam. It's beautifully done!

how did you anchor the atmos speakers?
You can order mounts for them via Arendal
And now they're out with their new 1528 line lol
are you selling your Polk's ???
I sold the front three towers...still have the 4 in walls..and I left the Atmos ones in the ceiling as there would be a large hole to fill..just have them disconnected
Before installing your atmos speakers did you try using them as front and rear height speakers before you put them on the ceiling?
I did not.
Time to replace them with the 1528s! You might still be in the 12 month upgrade window!
Yeah you are right, but I'm very happy with this setup for now, I have other projects I'm working on!
I prefer 3 way speakers as they image better

Nope. The Arendal's don't sound anything like Perlistens. They don't share any DNA. Definitely check out them, very different. @@gameroomtheater
The R series with dealer discount is fairly close in price.
