Great video . I have a Snow & Nealley 24 " from the 60s' that my uncle gave to me 50 years ago . Would like to have one of these modern ones . Thanks for your video .
Thanks for sharing Howard...I've got one that I've had for 18 years in the Hudson Bay design just about 24 inches. I've been real happy with it. Congrats on your purchase. You should be happy with it. ATB Mike
I've decided that I don't care of 'what's in a name' or place of origin and ordered a $27 hatchet from El Salvador. It is made of 1045 steel and comes with no 'sheath', it probably needs extensive reshaping/sharpening, but it's good steel with more handle than I need - I'll reshape the handle. I started in Sweden for $170 and ended in El Salvador for $27.
Nice you could get away. American made is good. Family owned business usually means pride in workmanship. LOL! Chop goes the palm of your hand. Like potato chips. Can't have just one. Look good to me.
I do as well I have some double bits and a couple wedges I am always looking for there older Hudson bay style . I was lucky enough many years ago to buy a Hudson bay new I think it was around 1978 . It was in a trapping supply house in New York State. At that time k bought it to use still have it
Nice tools. I got my son one, and my friend has one😊. Thanks 😊
Nice looking tools. I hope they work as good as they look. It will be nice to see how good of an edge they take. Thank you for the video, Howard

Nice axe 😉
I just run across a Tim Allen hammer I didn't know I had. It is so cool. Feels great in my hand.
Nice... I bet the 24 inch will be a good "camping" axe. I reckon you have about 40 axes by now, huh????
