Did you turn off the external microphone when you play? I just want to make sure I only hear the direct sound from pickup to your camcorder. But I think you might pick up the natural sound of the guitar as well on the external mic, cause I can hear your voice and guitar at the same time??
I watch all your videos, absolutely love them, so informative and with such a positive energy and sense of fun!! Please keep them coming! A long time since your last comment on this so I thought I'd send you "joy and peace" from Edinburgh, Scotland!!
Wow to me they both sound really good, thanks for the video, and for the playing, I admit I tune in for the wonderful guitar reviews, and your playing 🎶🎼🎵🎸
Good tip about aligning the poles pieces underneath the strings. I have an LR Baggs M1 (passive) on my 1986 Guild D212, and I think I have to adjust mine a bit.
I have been using Fishman's on all my guitars I am glad you are showing the LR Baggs very impressive sound and clarity my next addition will be a Baggs although I love my Para for under saddle pick up. Really Jarvis thanks for sharing you time n love with us Love n peace
hi~may i ask whats the differences between active element system and stagepro element???? and if i got imix and stagepro element then which one is more preferable??
Bro. I’m deciding now for my new Martin D15M. Please help me. Question . in your own opinion m80 is good or do you have something? I’m a worshiper this would be more on strumming thanks
Franklin Quijote it’s more dynamic and natural than the m80. The m80 is good if you want to play lots of slapping kind of playing and after all it’s still a magnetic pickup so the tone of the m80 Would not be the exact tone of your guitar ..
Hey Jarvis, I heard a guy play the m1a from LR Baggs and was really impressed with the sound. Started researching it and realized the m80 was the new and updated version. Really impressed with this demo. Have you played through an m1a at all? I'm assuming you'd recommend the m80 over the m1a?

the only good review Ive seen on this pickup...thanks!
great playing brother... love your touch... your style... good stuff.
Amazing sound from the M80!
Mac Arthur Yoro Glad you like it...cheers Jarvis
This is both the pickup and camera mic. Really need to hear the pickup on its own before we can make an informed decision
Wonderful playing and beautiful sound on both guitars! Thank you!
Awesome mate ! Many thanks for the demo.

you really need to record some of your demo tunes. they're REALLY nice!
nice! You seem to really enjoy the music you are playing
The M80 sounds so warm when finger picking
How I wish you could share the chords that you are playing here, very nice open chords!
Lex Estrada it's all on my channel under guitar tutorial
Sounds good

Franklin Quijote Get the full anthem LR Baggs system
The Guitar Spa Singapore bro that means anthem is more superior than m80. Thanks brother God bless

Awesome demo! Which one do you prefer more, this or the Lyric?
Michael Paramon I personally would prefer the Lyric as its almost the exact tone of the guitar
the lyric and anthem? what would be your choice?
how was it eq'd? sounds very good, I suspect some kind of cut in the mids. Can you share please the full eq?
Thanks
It’s flat no EQ
the undersaddle actually sound surprisingly natural for light picking... better than the M80. But for strumming... no way lol
Jarvis, what pickup is better for fingerstyle: LR Baggs Anthem or Lr Baggs M80?..
Станислав Сапегин anthem
Hard to choose! M80 and rare earth blend... both good... =(
***** M80 will be better than the rare earth
hmmm... ok thx.. cheers!
