I found this helpful, so here is a tip for anyone looking to rinse an area with lower pressure. Simply turn your pressure washer off and use it as normal. My faucet pressure combined with the 40-degree nozzle at the tip provides a decent low-pressure rinsing alternative to surging your trigger repeatedly.
Dark Fury (formerly Rage) is an INCREDIBLE product from Superior Products! I also use it to clean door jambs and engine bays. I buy the RTU (ready to use) 16 oz spray bottles from O'Reilly's Auto Parts. GREAT product for cleaning wheels, tires, door jambs and bugs. I ❤ it! Just spray, rinse and done!! Cool video! Thanks for posting!!
I use ONR, an old washing mitt wrung out, followed with a dry TheRagCompany Spectrum. Works awesome and fast, with the mitt it's easier to reach everywhere. Also doesn't really affect the grease on the hinges.
The Krause and Becker airless paint sprayer is the absolute perfect tool for cleaning door jambs and engine bays! Watch Brian Spitler's video demo's cleaning door jambs and engine bays! It's the reason I bought one of the Krause and Becker Airless Paint Sprayers! I'm doing door jambs on my 2001 black Lincoln Town Car tomorrow! I'll do some before and after pictures! :-) I have been holding off on buying anymore cleaning products as I am loaded to the gill with APC cleaners but as soon as I use up a gallon of one of them I will be buying a gallon of the "Superior Products" Rage cleaner! Great demo Chelsea! Mac Baker
Since I have always wiped down the door sills on my black Silverado I don't need a cleaning chemical. But I do wipe the off at every wash. I use good quality Rag Company towels for all aspects of exterior wash & dry. But for my door sills it's just cheap Walmart micro fiber towels. I spray wax those same areas about twice a year.
Always, ALWAYS take those towels I saw on the driver’s seat and drape them to protect the upholstery/interior from overspray!! Saves time, and the interior from possible stain, which someday WILL happen!
Shouldn't be spraying anything this close to surfaces other than the target area. The entry rails weren't dirty and if they are, just wipe the product on and off. Way too much over spraying here.
So I'm not sure if this was included in the video but process wise I will do my door jambs after vacuuming if I'm doing the interior but before I do any cleaning or shampooing that way if I get small drops of overspray I can wipe them up and not have to constantly go back over and redo things. If I am just doing an exterior I will do door jambs first to get them out of the way.n
I know this was 4 years ago. For those who may wonder, the Rage product is now called Dark Fury. You gained a subscriber. Do you still work detailing cars?
It may not have the disinfectant aspect that Spray 9 has so they may return but I haven’t tested it with them so can’t really say. You could try them and see
It can if you don’t prespray with water or have it too strong. Dilute at 5:1. It doesn’t so much stain the paint as it pulls so much film from the paint that where it did spray vs didn’t spray you can see a difference so just spray consistently after wetting with water first
Chelsea, will Rage/Dark Fury remove black streaks on a white vehicle...like the ones you see on a trailer or RV? I have a white Scion xB that sits for extended amounts of time outside and ends up streaked from just sitting parked for long periods of time.
It can but make sure panels are wet ahead of time and if possible foam dark fury on because spraying it out of a bottle can sometimes be too strong and leave what looks like stains on the paint
@@attention2detailswchelsea thanks! I grabbed some Road Warrior, Zap It and Leather Cleaner yesterday as well. Maybe I should use RW with a shot of DF in the foam cannon...?
That stuff looks almost exactly like FLASH Products BROWN ROYAL which has been around for YEARS and is an extremely effective degreaser, wheel cleaner product. I've seen Brown Royal emulsify baked on brake dust as good as an Iron Remover or Acidic cleaner but Brown Royal is NON-ACIDIC.
@@attention2detailswchelsea I was actually at O"Reilly's Auto Parts today for something unrelated and believe it or not I see Superior Products Dark Fury (aka: Rage) in the car cleaning supplies, among other Superior Products line. They were either on special or clearance so I grabbed the last two bottles to give them a try. I believe these are "ready to use" bottles and not the kind you dilute but I have to read the bottle to make sure. Either way, I got a great deal on them so I was happy. I'm going to give them a shot tomorrow. If they are like Brown Royal, then this is a great product because I have been using Brown Royal for YEARS and it is one of the best brake dust remover's (non-acidic) out there! All of them (Rage/Dark Fury, Chocolate Thunder, and Brown Royal may be the exact same product, just re-branded for each of the companies. Looking forward to giving the Dark Fury a try. Thanks for the tip.
Instead of doing all four doors, it would have been nice to do just two on the same side, dried them and then applied the spray wax to show the final product. It was kind of long and repetitive. Just trying to give good feedback so your videos will be more effective and not as long as Scott's. Thanks for the information.
I still use Rage for door jambs and also for pre soak with my foam cannon when I'm stripping lsps and wanting to thoroughly clean the paint. For maintenance washes though I use Dirt Buster or F-Bomb.
You'd have to check with Jolene Doctor on that one as I've never used it on a clear bra and I know they can be sensitive to certain things. Better safe than sorry. Test it on a hidden part if possible.
Curious what pressure washer your using. I'm in the market for one and don't want to waste money on a crappy one. Love the video. Are you on Instagram? Check me out omegadetails/Instagram 😉
Sometimes you have to get a little dirty to clean the dirt. Don't worry, it's not the only way I do door jambs. But it is the fastest as per the title. The end result speaks for itself. Thanks for watching though. What way would you recommend?
It's simply A way not the only way. I actually just spray Rage and pressure wash and that's sufficient alone. But hey start a channel and I'll subscribe!

Rage, now Dark Fury has revolutionized my cleaning. Thanks Chelsea 😊👍
Rage is truly a game changer. Thanks allot for recommending this product Chelsea. This has made my life really easy.👏
You should get a 50 ft pressure washer hose! Totally changed the game for me, no need to worry about dragging the pressure washer around now.
I have the same pressure washer. The original hose is a hemorrhoid. Not long enough. I’ve got a 50’ hose on the way. That should help out.
Often the safest way will be the fastest and simplest ... Another great video
Thanks for the demo of your technique and explanation of your sequence. Great method!
I use ONR, an old washing mitt wrung out, followed with a dry TheRagCompany Spectrum. Works awesome and fast, with the mitt it's easier to reach everywhere. Also doesn't really affect the grease on the hinges.
I’ll start using my airless paint sprayer from harbor freight for this! Good call C!

Hose hitting side of the car!!! Foul! Lol. Because of you i have started my search for RAGE and the other products they sell. Good work :)
This is an awesome method. Touch free, quick, thorough! Thanks so much for sharing this with us!
I use a piece of cardboard with my other hand to block the spray from the interior. It works great

I put more rage in when I am mad... Great vid..
5:26 you know a woman loves to clean cars when she says this.
Love this
Nearly choked on my corn flakes when I got to 5:46.
i try to clean the door jams the same way love your videos

Optimum no rinse w/wax is the easiest and fastest method. Cleans, shines & protects all in one swoop.
Chelsea, excellent video!
I think I'm gonna pick up a gallon of this Rage product, now known as Dark Fury,, seems to work amazing!!
Thanks for the video. Great information as always.

Yes seven years going strong
Rage is a great product to use ....saves alot of time...good.job!
Oh yes nice 👍🏻 job
The best way 👍🏻💪🏻
Nice results
Can You provide a link for that pressure washer spray gun, please? Thank You!
Well done vid!
Nice vid will be Watching more
Great video 👌👌👌
good vid, DETAIL ON!!!!!!
Why not use waterless wash and wax spray it on. Wipe it off. One jam at a time. Shawn
Enjoy your videos Chelsea. Just recently discovered them. What are the negatives to using Purple Power or Mean Green for that?
It may not have the disinfectant aspect that Spray 9 has so they may return but I haven’t tested it with them so can’t really say. You could try them and see
I've used them for years, but only on tires, fender wells. Thanks for your response. Happy 4th.
Was waiting for you to take that white tip off, would be much better, the water will come out slowly
Wouldnt rinsing the doorjambs with water first because most of the heavy grime is already off before you spray it with the pump spray?
It can help but water alone doesn’t remove the film and this helps remove the film making the rinse step more effective
Word has it that the rage mite stain the driveway if not properly rinsed away. Got a gallon but haven't used it yet. We'll find out soon
Yes it can so rinse well after using
U should to use the green tip.
It woks better for me!
;)
What you use for black plastic they look good!
More than likely Pink Perfection
Any gloss enhancement?
I rarely use them and may have used Turtle Wax Ice Spray wax for protection
will it stain white paint? The paint color of the car in the video looks off white. Im talking bright white

Where did you get the pump sprayer ? Thankyou for the video

Great vid! What ratio do you use for wheel cleaner? Can I use Rage to clean engine bay too?
5:1 for everything and yes its great for engines
Oh never mind....i see what it is that you're using. But can you recommend a steamer anyways?
What is that you're using? (The type of steamer?) Looking for a good one
This is why I bought rage/dark fury. It seems to be a bit too strong in another video of Yours.
What pump sprayer did you use?
Chemical Looks similar to super clean
Really flawless where can I get some of that cleaner from great job 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

Thanks I really appreciate it Chelsea
I have a sunjoe 2598max with that long ridiculous wand, Where did you get that gun?

It's actually a whole kit I bought that has a foam gun, cannon, and tips. I absolutely love mine!
Yes I've heard that before and it's also similar to Car Candy Chocolate Thunder.

Lets see if she answers my question how much you charge for a job like the one your doing on the vehicle including the shampooing
All my prices are listed on my website at www.a2dlancaster.com and shampooing is included.

Thanks for the tip. I was trying to show how quickly you can do all door jambs but I get it. Either way thanks for watching and for the input.
That’s a lot of chem for a clean car
Where are you buying the superior rage from?
Superiors website as there's no Oreillys near me. I pay shipping for it but don't mind as it's a great product to have in my arsenal
So next time use the 15 degree tip not the 40 degree that's why you're get to much wet
FYI: The sound volume of your videos is lower than any other UA-camrs I know of.
I recorded it on my phone and yes the audio I've been told is not the best. Work in progress
Do you still recommend RAGE in 2020? Most UA-cam Car Detailers recommend Super Clean diluted 5:1.
I still use Rage for door jambs and also for pre soak with my foam cannon when I'm stripping lsps and wanting to thoroughly clean the paint. For maintenance washes though I use Dirt Buster or F-Bomb.
Is that safe if you have a clear bra in front of a car and sprayed on the type of plastic film
You'd have to check with Jolene Doctor on that one as I've never used it on a clear bra and I know they can be sensitive to certain things. Better safe than sorry. Test it on a hidden part if possible.
