Good video. I am looking at the KST bars also and trying to decide 12" or 14". I'm 5'10" and don't want to be stretched forward. CAN YOU tell me what Mustang solo front seat that is on the bike. Looks like a Lowdown touring but don't think you would have that at 6'2"? I run a super touring which puts me back 1.25" and reason I want the bars to come back.
The Mustang seat was on this RGS when I bought it - I've never looked up the model. at 6'2" I've thought more than once about whether I should have gone with 14" bars. I do like my shoulder and arm position with the 12" Outlaws in the video tho. Hope this helps. #RideLife
Hi Tom, thanks man! Unsure what specific model the intro bike is, but certain it’s an older BMW airhead. It’s stock footage we bought, added our own music and wording/graphics. We like it, for sure. Kind of captures the old, the new, the young, the aging.
I have a 2020 Road Glide Limited and am thinking about getting a set of 12" bars. I believe the bike comes with 10". I'm 5'10" and could live with the stock bars but I do get a little pain between my shoulder blades on long rides. Thinking the 12's would be a little more comfortable. Do these bars change the angle at which your hands sit? How are you liking the bars since you've had them a while? Great video!
Hey there MotorcycleDen. I'm 6'2" and love the 12" bars. They really aren't that tall and the stock cables worked without any problems. I aligned the bars to be directly in line with the forks for a more positive steering feel. I've had KST bars on me last two Harley's and have had great success. KST makes a great product.
Nice video I'm 5'11" I just trade my street glide for a road glide. On my street glide I had 12" and they were comfortable. Do you think I should the same 12" height for the road glide? Thank you
Hi Cesar - apologies for the delayed reply brother. I'm 6'2" and had 12" Mayhems on my Streetglide. They felt taller than these 12" Outlaw bars from KST. I almost wished I had gone with 14's on the Roadglide but I do like my arm position so I'm sticking with them. These 12's might be just right for you.
Sorry to be so off topic but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb lost my account password. I would love any tricks you can give me!
@Holden Saul I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Those are nice bars. My Road King is a 2011. Doesn’t look like KST sells bars for older bikes.

At least you were able to reuse the original harness

I’m also 6’2 and run the H-D Tallboy seat with stock bars. Totally comfortable with stock bars. Just don’t like the way tall bars look.
It’s all a matter of what you’re most comfortable with, what suits you best.

Very informative video, but I have the techs do it for me at the dealership...LOL.
Right on! - That's easy when you work at the dealership! LOL

What the name of the color of the road glide
Called Velocity Red Sunglow
When handlebars are outlawed, only outlaws will have handlebars. Or something.
Haha, agreed.
