If you’re struggling with going DCT or not, this bike seems to bridge the gap.
@@TheP47thunderbolt agreed. Not quite a full automatic, but more than a quickshifter.
한국에는 오늘 런칭이 되었습니다. 너무 기대돼요. 나도 하나 삽니다
Love my mt07! R6 throttle tube works great ,it’s just a fun simple bike
Got mine brand new from may 2024, already approaching 10.000 km or 6.000 miles. I'm VERY happy with the bike, it's efficient and fast enough for me and suits my daily needs.
@@WarningSign1000 fantastic! Glad you’re racking up the miles with it!
I love them.. got a Hunter at the moment. Would I like one of these ... yes indeed
@@KevinofWessex we loved the Hunter too! Here’s our review and story of it- roaddirt.tv/happy-hunting/
Tells us nothing. Pointless video
Its a "Short". Its not supposed to tell you much, nor have much of a point other than a quick viewing. Hence, the YT video type, "Short".

I appreciate your honest and to the point review with no foul language!
@@noiwillnotfixurpc2977 thanks for that! Keeping it real, keeping it clean. 👍🏻
thanks for your review...I've 'defeated' cancer 3 times so far.....how reliable are these vehicles....I would guess more maintenance might be required?....take care ride safe
@@ChristyCavuto me too, 3x bladder cancer survivor. Prayers for your continued good health. These trikes seem quite reliable, from what we’ve heard. Regular interval oil/fluid/filter/tire changes, and they should run for years on end. Blessings on ya, Christy.
As an Indian, you are welcome, Now go be nice to an immigrant in Georgia ✊
What's up Ryan? This suit looks very similar to my Revit Quantum 2 suit I've rocked the ladt couple of seasons. Absolutely impressed with the suits quality. My only complaint is the stretch material in non-impact zones isn't as flexible as some. Would definitely purchase Revit again.
Good to see Ryan expanding his footprints to other areas of everything motorcycles.
He’s been a contributor to Road Dirt since our inception and launch in 2019. The original “Road Dirt Crew”!
Why do they not make them with larger frames? They have a good vintage look but anyone of even average size dwarfs it and they do not look comfortable when riding them. Not a good look for an expensive bespoke bike.
If I wanted a bike without rear suspension I would just buy a mini-bike.
Get rid of that ride by wire and put a cable back in ,if you are in the middle of no where and the ride by wire goes wrong your stuffed a cable you can fix ,besides that it’s a great bike all round ,jimmy Australia
Great motorbike however, I would rather pay 2K less and get rid of the fluff, i.e. adaptive, cruise control
@@jamestorregrossa1185 I guess if you consider that fluff, sure. We found it a great feature for road tripping, trying to put down long miles in a day.
It seems this review is brought to you by Yamaha 😂
@@misterboodarie we received absolutely zero compensation, endorsement or reward for this. They simply loaned us the bike for what ended up being just shy of 11 months, so we rode the $h!+ out of it for thousands of miles, on multiple road trips. We found the bike to be that good.
Cool bike, cool review.
my last name is Jshitty and I would pick a different name if I created a product...Im shallow I guess
brought production back to America and named it Janus? Is it just me? Who are the ad-wizards?
Google "Janus god of beginnings" for the story behind their name.
@@roaddirttv and ends
Good watch. We spent a week on the 411 and now we are looking forward to a run on the 450. Thanks for the Vid.
Thanks, @nelsonriggusa! Let’s collaborate soon.
Do you thinks it’s wise to jump from my Honda Monkey to a bike like this? 😅
Best thing we’d advise would be to go test ride one. But keep that Monkey! Cool little bike!
@@roaddirttv you’re right… I should definitely do that… thanks man!
Going to buy this weekend looking to go see tge world on it from india.
I see they've replaced the old kill switch & starter with an integrated unit. That old starter button feels absolutely amazing on mine, I can fidget with it all day! What's the new one like?
Easy, becomes intuitive quickly.
@@roaddirttv Is it as fidgety and satisfying as the old one?
On paper, it is the essence of good automation - completely invisible to the rider when it works, completely natural to override when necessary, comes with an OFF switch. Whether they did a good job of implementing it - time & miles will tell. The other reason I like it is because it gives you an up & down qs WITHOUT sacrificing the otherwise rather excellent cable throttle. All she needs now is one of them throttle servo cruise control systems 😉
Well said!
Very interesting. Seems like an electronic version of a cetrifical clutch combined with a quick shifter. Curious to see if Honda will use this system in their dual sport and adventure line up in the near future
@@gabrielkopp2036 agreed, it was very interesting. Your assessment seems accurate as well. It’s definitely coming on numerous other models in the coming years.
I have an OG 18 green myself, my friend 146
I hope in the future more products in America, be built like this!!!
If you don’t own one of these motorcycles, then shut up, there is no company on this planet that puts love into a product they build like Janice motorcycles. End of story.
I was fortunate enough to find a used 2018, 146 250 Halcyon in Boise, Idaho. by a person that had no business owning it incredible Motorcycle does not compare to my 05 dino rider, workmanship and history. I’m proud to own this bike and the people that built it.
Speedo goes to 110. Gotta love it ❤ 😂...
@@daveminer9217 wonder if it will do it…? 🤔
Thank you for this video. I lost my husband 3 weeks ago. We rode on his Harley Ultra Classic conversion trike. He had been patiently teaching me to drive it as we knew his biking days were about to end due to his heart condition. He left me his treasured bike and I have decided it's just too big for a little girl like me. So, I have had my eye on a Freewheeler. Will be taking a test drive on a 2015 model at a HD dealer next week. This video helped me prepare for my test drive. So sorry you lost your dear friend. I know how it feels.
Katie, my heart broke as I read your comment. I’m still in tears, sitting here typing this. I’m grieved for your recent loss. If a hug could be transferred via message, please consider this a hug. 🤗 I lost my beloved father 3 years ago this week, and I still mourn the loss of my friend Mike. But losing my wife, the love of my life, would be unimaginable. I can’t come close to what you’re going through. I’m happy our humble video was encouraging to you. Yes, keep riding, as your beloved husband would be proud. Remember him as you ride, with the breezes in your face. Please know our prayers are with you in this time of grief. Keep in touch- Rob@roaddirt.tv
Curious about the engine at 85 miles an hour...that like 135 or so km...is it really pretty decent ? can it handle that for awhile ?? how I have to think it was working pretty hard ?
I was stunned and impressed with the bike’s capabilities above 75 mph. At 85, I still had power and rpm left. I think I hit like 92-93 at a point or two, and it felt like it had a little more. At 80-85, the engine was roaring, but it felt like it could sustain it. I would have never attempted that with the 411. I’m telling ya, this new Sherpa 450 engine is quite extraordinary.
A 1300GS is still very hard to beat for two up cross country trips but solo? Himalayan 450 would be my steel horse!
You said it right, it’s a all around bike for city, Hwy, 2 up fun bike 💯
Great review , direct on point!
@@ricardomaio-nj7is Thanks! We’re very proud of Ryan’s ride and review.
Was ready to go get a DR 650 but when I learned about the Himalayan 450 I changed gears. Love the DR and the KLR but the Himalayan just suits my need better.
The Himalayan wasn't even on my radar but I stumbled on it and was very impressed with what I was seeing. I've got one on order from my local dealership and should have it just in time for winter storage 😂.
@@johnsilvers5883 we’re pretty sure you’ll put it to some use before winter storage, 😆
@roaddirttv Hopefully I can get a few days to break her in. Hope you are going to do some future videos on the 450. I would love to see more.
This video was so helpful. I followed your vid and was able to fix the ignition. One tip, with Dremel and their skinny sanding disc I was able to put a grove in the bolt and unscrew it with a flat head screwdriver. Also, my contacts had a little melting on the contact. I was able to carefully free the contact with the use of an exacto knife. It works perfectly now. Just adding these couple things I encountered in case someone else runs into. Thanks a lot for this great video. Right now the ignition is going for $300 online. Great savings.
@@JohnnyDxKilla excellent man! Congrats! And thanks for adding the extra tips. I’m sure those will prove handy to others as well.

A couple weeks ago I purchased a new 2023 Scram 411 for $3600, out the door. Really enjoying it.
@@dpetrick still great little do-everything bikes, for sure.
@@roaddirttv Damn, that cheap !
thanks for this- how would you say the quality compares to similarly priced alpinestars suits?
Hey there, when I tested the suit I actually found the quality to be a little better with some of the fine points they added to the suit. It also felt less bulky.
This bike is best single cylinder motorcycle. I think
great to see you here, Im also a Bike lover
