Im excited about the grieving system tbh. Once the mourning moodlet disappears or gets overtaken by other moodlets, the sims feels nothing for the sim that passed away, there isnt even a milestone they can reflect back on. I hope they tackle grief realistically where it sometimes comes in waves.

I play with aging off too. I was most excited about tarot cards, and thought it might be a new career. Sadly it's not but I hope we'll be able to do readings for simolens.
I agree with you I rarely ever kill off my Sims either.

I’m super excited for funerals and graveyards
As someone who also doesn't like to let their sims die, I find the whole soul's journey pretty interesting. It seems to allow me generational play without having to loose my favourite sims. Sure they could stick around as ghosts before, but ghost gameplay was somewhat lacking up until now.
i love playing with active careers, so I'm definitely most excited about that! I also find the rebirth system interesting and can see myself doing a long term gameplay with soulmates and reincarnation

I also have a problem with making my sims die. I have a huge anxiety issue around death so making my sims live forever is my only way to cope 😑

For me I do long age but I will probably try the ghost one and the reborn stuff, But the funeral things not my thing all the way but I am interested on the bucket list in the reborn side. Like what happens if vampire reborns in stuff like that. in the grim reaper job seem fun
Every savefile I keep my Sims on long life. The bucket list does sound very interesting
I always get to my third generation and can’t move on😂😂😂 at least with my main sims I make in every game.

My sims don't die that often and i get bored plnning big events (like MWS weddings). I'm really looking forward to thr bucket list but also the new traits and the Undertaker career. I feel like o'll get lot of mileage out of all those
None of my sims are gonna die until this pack comes out
What would be really cool is if the modders find a way to fiddle around with the list, and make new and interesting items for it.
I am excited for bucket lists. Will give me a way to set a goal for play that is not a normal want, need or aspiration.

I’m a legacy player, so my most exciting feature of this EP will be a new type of legacy. That being Rebirth I want to do 10 generations being reborn to each in a different family.😊
@Iron Seagull hey Julian I hope you are doing well. I honestly can't wait for the bucket list and this might be a stretch but I hope that we'll finally be be able to woohoo the grim reaper or try for a baby with him. But what I hope for the most is *insert drum roll here* that the pack won't be as buggy at launch unlike other packs 😂

I like to play my sims in generations with big extended families so death is a big part of it, anything that adds to growing up and family types of gameplay are great for me, and more stuff for Elder sims because they can get boring and sometimes I feel like I'm just waiting for them to die once their kids moved out 🫣

since the update I had a sim repair the gramophone and he died. I pleaded, but . . no go. he died. it was so unexpected. but I can see this is going to be so cool the way they will change it. the animation seems different then I remember.

I don’t really care much for funerals, I do the same thing. Aging off, l have the hardest time letting my sims go, unless it’s for my story. Everything else I’m excited for. Spooky, and gothic elements are what I’m excited for. I can’t wait for the reaper intern thing, and being a mortician. Oh plus crows! I’m so excited for that. The CAS items I’m excited for, build and buy. I love building too. I create stories, that’s what keeps me from getting bored. I think I’ve said before I’m occult simmer, so this something I’ll never get tired of. If anyone loves hybrid sims. Check out the hybrid stabilizer mod. On mod the sims, do not download the one you see, go to comments and someone fixed it. 10th doctor or whatever it is. Oh and I’m excited to see more on the ghost.
After watching this video, I realized how expansive this pack can be, like the bucket list. The only limitation I see is how much cross compatibility this pack will have.
see i feel bad if a sim dies young but not if a sim dies of old age that's realistic :P and better than if they died young

honestly i kind of hate the bucket list because that simology tab is already exhausting. its full to busting!!! 😵😵 i wish they would synergize, integrate and collapse some of these "accessory"" game pack features together. its so much
Sad two of my sim died because of fire i don't really kill them off often but i decided to keep one of the ghost

This was a good way to introduced zombies. But i think its a no, because i dont see nothing about it in the trailer. maybe in another pack including fairies also.
kind of really sad we have to think ahead and lean on mods to get satisfying gameplay for the sims 4....

@@Hollowluna I love hearing about sims 4 news, that's why I love satchonsims, Im going to take satch as an example, he will make a summary in one video of everything we know thus far. Not a whole 15 mins rambling on about bucket lists, which will be buggy also 😅. He does not ckickbate either, im just using him as an example.

@@Carrots-sb7qo …Eh? Satch definitely clickbaits. I tend to go more in-depth with my thoughts, what others do doesn’t necessarily work for me. No way am I making an hour long video, hardly anyone wants to watch that. It’s easier to keep up when things are divided up. And not all the info came out at the same time either. Sounds like my channel just isn’t for you, and that’s okay. I can’t please everyone, that’s not possible.
Also…this video isn’t a news video. It’s an opinion piece and the whole point of it was to have something different from my last 3 videos and so it wouldn’t make my last video excessively long... 😅

Other thing; i really hope what you think with the traits is gonna happen. Like for example a gloomy person might want to write a poetry book or something and a dog lover would adopt a new friend on four paws♡ like i feel that would be if done well really good.

I appreciate the funerals and the cremations i do and i dont want to take it away but at this moment im also in a rough place so im avoiding that subject. The bucket list feature it sounds like a great addition for me and my gameplay as i often kinda wish my sims would tell me what they want to do. I know its for me to make up but i would love it if they had their own interests and goals you know? Something i didn't pick for once 😂
