Tiffany was power-leveling his wife's account so they could play together when they got stuck. Honestly, unlocked a new fear in me. I always make a 'me' character first, then I make a gremlin, to test out all the stuff I didn't main. But I end up playing the joke character more than my main.
I mean, in Star Trek online I had a blue-skinned female Yoda. You could bug out the height sliders on generic aliens. My ship was the USS Tugz-A-Lot.
It was a tow-truck. A tiny ship, fitted with an event console. Those are all trash. Mostly cosmetic. This one, chains of fire, just put tractor beams on everything behind you for 15 seconds and you could pull them. Did only the tiniest bit of damage. Not enough to notice even on a starter ship. And your weapons face forwards. So, useless.
But I loaded up on mines, and engines, to the exclusion of all else. Boost towards a fleet, hit the full impulse ability, shoot past them, activate chains of fire, and drag them halfway across the map, while pooping mines and they take collision damage like cans being dragged behind a 'just married' car.
Then..... it's a 2 minute cooldown where I can't do much of anything. Mines never hit anyone, ever. Unless you *make* them.
But it's usually a one-shot. And npc ships bug out, not knowing where to move, because their target is out of range. So, on base defense, my towtruck build solos. Base takes no damage and the bad guys just sit still, and you can whittle them down at range.
But if I got stuck in a game, I'd be stuck like _that,_ more than likely. A living meme. And that kinda kills the 'cool' and leaves only the terror part of being stuck in an rpg.
