  • This is the interior presentation of the new DAF XG+, DAF XG and DAF XF trucks.
    In our video you will see:
    DAF XG interior cabin.
    DAF XG+ interior cabin.
    DAF XF interior cabin.
    The new DAF XF, DAF XG and DAF XG+ offer the highest quality, 10% improved fuel efficiency, a full suite of passive and active safety features, and the next level of luxury in truck design.
    In addition to the XF, DAF is introducing the XG and XG+, creating a new top class market segment, which takes maximum benefit from the new masses and dimensions regulations.
    Next to the 160 mm elongated front, both flagship models feature no less than 330 mm extra length, at the rear of the cab, for unmatched space to work, live and sleep.
    The semi-flat floor, provides the optimal combination of an easy access, with only 3 steps, and a great seating position for excellent direct vision.
    The XG cab interior, offers a standing height from 1 point 98 to 2.1 m, and thanks to the elongation at the rear, - an enormous interior space.
    The standing space, goes up to 2.2 m in the new XG+ cabin.
    Only the finest materials have been used in the New Generation DAF. Lightweight, high strength steel is used for the cab structure, and premium soft touch materials and leather, are used extensively throughout the interior.
    The 10.8 liter Paccar MX-11 engine, and 12.9 liter Paccar MX-13 engines, have been upgraded too.
    The top-rated 530 hp version, now offers 2,550 Nm of torque in every lower gear, and 2,700 Nm of torque in top gear.
    The new trucks are equipped with a TraXon automated gearbox as standard, featuring new technologies like, automatic drive-off gear selection, enhanced predictive features and, optional, urge-to-move.
    A new optional feature, is the DAF Digital Vision System, replacing the main and wide-angle mirrors with cameras. The cameras further enhance direct vision, while also increasing aerodynamic performance, contributing to highest fuel efficiency.
    With the New Generation XF, XG and XG+, DAF introduces full LED lighting on every model. Daytime running lights, main beam, high beam, cornering and manoeuvring lights, Skylights, side marker lights and optional front fog lights, are now available on all trucks.
    Inside the cab, adjustment ranges of seats and steering column are unmatched, and result in the best possible driving position for every individual driver, even allowing for a more passenger-car-like driving positioning.
    Available as options on XG and XG+, are a swivel driver and co-driver seat, which can be turned to a relaxing position after a long day’s driving.
    A foldable co-driver seat is standard. It provides an unrestricted view through the Vision Door with Kerb View Window, and creates even more interior space.
    The headrest can be folded, to create a practical table alongside luxurious bed.
    The beautiful dashboard is a real eye-catcher, and has been designed to add to the vehicle’s unique direct vision.
    It features an attractive, central 12 inch display, for all vehicle-related information, and an optional 10 inch touch screen, for the DAF Navigation and Infotainment System.
    All key information is visible at a glance.
    On the central display, the driver can select between two lay-out designs, and four levels of information. Display settings can also be personalized.
    There is a new steering wheel too.
    The new trucks, also come with the best bunks in the truck industry. Length is 2.2 meters in all versions, with no less than 800 mm of width.
    As an option, a mechanical, or even fully electrically adjustable Relax Bed is available, for optimal head, back and leg support.
    The completely new Rear Wall Control Panel, enables convenient operation of a full range of functionalities from the bed. lighting, climate, sound system, windows and roof hatch.
    The panel even offers a surveillance mode, using DAF Digital Mirror System and the DAF Corner Eye, and a panic button that actives the horn and hazard lights.
    Under the bunk, there is plenty of storage options, including either one or two drawers, or one or two refrigerators, in which 1.5 liter bottles can stand upright.
    Outside storage lockers at both the left and right sides, are accessible through large openings.
    The dashboard has two holders for cups, mugs and small bottles, and a retractable dashboard table for eating or working, now even larger than before.
    In addition, the XG and XG+, have a practical drawer in the lower part of the dashboard, in which documents or a laptop can be easily stored.

      Unfortunately not, when I got my last XF the dealer phoned to tell me it was ready to collect and there was a nice surprise for me, I asked if it had long blond hair and big tits, he nearly choked!

    Is allemaal heel mooi, maar doordat er zo geknepen moet worden in brandstof verbruik, vervalt de trekkracht. En dat heb ik zelf ervaren.voor derest een mooie trekker

    Un gran avance en tecnología y seguridad pero ninguna casa de camiones realiza un cambió de tendencia en cabinas amplias y confortables para largos viajes y un descanso más confortable con todos los accesorios necesarios. Esperó que ésto cambie por el bien de millones de camioneros que están muchos días fuera de casa.

      Oh dear Rachel,don't be to disappointed ,it's out of date before they have even released it, Daf never did detail and this is no exception, did u notice there was no mention of microwave,or storage ,they have continued with the double bunk instead of a set of rear lockers,every time you leave it for a few days u need to empty everything from the top bunk Incase it gos to the workshop and they tip the cab, since the advent of forklift trucks there's no double manning ,But daf don't get it

    Nice motor the XG only trouble i found is the ones we have only have a 400-litre diesel tank and the steps in the tank are too far forward so to climb up onto the catwalk you are leaning at a bad angle, i can see a lot of accidents here, so Daf hope you are well insured

    Eine echt coole Einrichtung, wäre cool wenn es hier auch mal Ton gäbe, scheint ja etwas erklärt zu werden. Wäre für mich auch ganz praktisch, versuche die Sprache von polnisch auf deutsch umzustellen. Geht natürlich aber nicht, (selbst ein Pole hat es nicht geschafft). Wenn jmd weiß wie/wo das geht, gerne bescheid sagen.

    Well DAF didn't fluff up, it's a fine looking truck and I bet it's great to drive but I don't like their engines. I still hear of oil and water mixing with the 12.9L engine and they need a big banger to go against the 600hp + engine the others seem to be putting out.

      My brother drives kenworh t680 with a paccar motor. It is so quite. I did some research and found out that in Europe DAF trucks get the engine. I drive a Volvo. I'm a Volvo fan but after hearing the way paccar sound I fell in love with it. Volvo tends to have unnecessary valve sounds that I'm not fan of. But still nothing comes close to VOLVO 😀

    Trucks should be basic and simple so that your eyes are kept firmly on the road whilst driving and not wandering around the dashboard trying to do something else. I don't want to go back to the days of manual gearboxes, but all this is going way too far. I guess youngsters will know no difference particularly if new to the industry.

    Mirrors in the form of video cameras have proven to be a dangerous and ineffective mechanism in Mercedes. Why spread this idea ?! Leave the mirrors alone. Consult with drivers, be closer to those who work on this equipment.

      Because they want to build trucks that are AI friendly.
      They are slow changing the trucks systems to fit the AI autonomous driving in the near future. Thats why it doesn't make sense to us but makes sense when you know about AI

    Мені зміни не подобаються.
    Автомобіль став не зручним та не практичним для довгих поїздок. Навіщо так зменшили холодильник. Плашку з водою можна і в дверях залишити. А холодильник повинен бути великии , також потрібна морозильна камера більша. Чому конструктори не спілкуються з водіями і не враховують їх побажання. Я працюю по 12 тижнів в Європі саме на ДАФ 106.

    I don't like the changes. The car became uncomfortable and impractical for long trips. Why so reduced the refrigerator. The die with water can be left in the door. And the refrigerator should be large, you also need a larger freezer. Why designers do not communicate with drivers and do not take into account their wishes. I work for 12 weeks in Europe at DAF 106.

    Einem dummen Morelo Wohnmobil um Zehnerpotenzen überlegen - echte Profiqualität eben (nicht nur überteuert verkaufte Freizeitqualität) - immer eine reine Freude, so etwas zu fahren!
    (Schließlich setzten auch Wohnmobile, die viele hunderttausend Euro kosten, bis auf weiteres in aller Regel nur auf den Fahrgestellen der unter größtem Kostendruck und mit vielen Kompromissen ausgedachten und umgesetzten, deutlich billigen Nutzfahrzeug-Mittelschicht mit 7,5 oder 12 Tonnen auf. Ein Sattelzug hat eben einen Profiarbeitsplatz, der, wie man im Film sehr schön sieht, u.a. eben auch nach Arbeitsstellen-Verordnung gemacht sein muss - der dumme 7,5 Tonner Kasten für den Gemüsemarkt natürlich nicht.)

    Най-скапания камион който съм карал! Тотален резил и позор за марката! Постоянно тракащи и проблемни инжектори, изключително слаб в маршрути с голяма денивелация, проблемна печка за отопление на кабината заради лоша циркулация на водата и постоянно образуване на въздушни тапи, без подвижни рефлектори, без стъпенки на решетката за достъп до предния прозорец, проблем има и с клансона който просто отказва да работи, постоянни грешки на компютъра без видима причина, тотален срив на бордовия компютър при влизане в тунел който е в състояние рано или късно да предизвика серйозен проблем(причината е грешка в софтуера свързан с дистроника) , проблемна ръчка и жило за отваряне на предния капак за обслужване...и т.н.
    Като добавим факта ,че като визия е 100% кражба от други марки за мен това е най-лошия камион правен през последните 60 години!
