Late season Elk hunt in Payson, AZ

We drew the late elk bull hunt in Payson, AZ. We had a week long trip on Payson for our bull hunt and this video shows the experiences and struggles of that elk hunt. One thing we know is that we always help friends and family when in need. That's what its all about!

Interesting video. Been here in AZ for 3 years now and haven't put in for my license or applied for a draw because I have no idea where to hunt and no one to hunt with. A little nervous about straying off into unknown country at 56 years old alone. Used to hunting back east in the hardwoods and mountains. Lucky you have such a large family and friend base to enjoy hunting together. One observation, is I noticed most of your video you are scouting from a road, just a feet away from your UTV. Looked like some higher ridges around that may have been better for glassing. If you're up for it, I've always thought if I was too close to other hunters, I just needed to go deeper in, sometimes a mile or so off the dirt road. I appreciate your video.
