@@kittycat8222 Good morning ☕️ We appreciate you reaching out to us, and that’s a great question. After refrigerator is delivered to your home and positioned inside, that’s when we start at 8-12 hour clock. After that time matures or expires, it’s safe to plug the refrigerator in and carefully shift unit back into resting place. After you plug refrigerator in, and gently push it into its resting place… The refrigerator itself will not experience any aggressive movements or awkward angle/positions as it does during shipping and delivering. You never know what the refrigerator experiences before it comes to a stop inside your home, and because of that… It’s absolutely best to allow it to sit for that very important time frame. 😎👍🧰

So wait, plug it in8 -12 hours,
Move it to the wall the 2 extra feet,
Wait again (how long) before inserting food? Thanks!

Good morning ☕️
We appreciate you reaching out to us, and that’s a great question.

We are honored to help. 👍
4hrs LG support to let sit unplugged.
Do you leave doors open?
Then 4hrs on before food in fridge.
24-48hrs before total cool functioning correct LG state.
Thanks for watching & welcome to the DIY Raptor Club. That all sounds good. Properly allowing the machines internals to balance is very important.
We appreciate you reaching out to us, enjoy your day.

I bought new gree refrigerator.... Freezer is working well but fridge is not working
Thanks for watching & reaching out to us. Any update...?...has refrigerator started working?
If it’s brand new, it may be best to get it replaced with a new one. Please keep us posted.

After moving to new home, there was already brand new refrigerator at home, which I started. However, after 2-3 days as well it’s not cooling.
I tried unplugging for 5-10 mins and then plugged it
I removed all the food stuff from it and kept the fridge on for more than 1 hr now.
Kindly help.
Thanks for watching, that’s no fun. Below is a link to our video showing reset procedure.

Although it’s for a different refrigerator, it’s the same concept. 😎👍

how is that refrigerator now ?
Thanks for watching, working great.
So we brought home our new fridge it was lying down on it front or back not side is that bad
Thanks for watching & we recommend letting it sit in the upright position & unplugged for at least 5 hours...since it was lying down. Hope this helps.

The delivery people told me I could plug it in after 30 minutes. I’m devastated wtf
6 to 8 hours?
It’s best to follow the time frame set forth in the owners manual. 6-8 hours is very common. Hope this helps.

I bought a refrigerator today and they told me to don't plug it in straight away
They told me to wait 12 hours and then plug it in
Thanks for watching & they gave you great advice. Plugging it in immediately after transporting it can lead to internal parts prematurely failing.
Hope all is well. 😎👍🔧🔩

Is it safe to plug a brand new ref in an extension?
No
depends on the load capacity of the extension , see the amp and watt ratting of the extension to see if it can support it . improper extension can become too hot and catch fire after sometime
What’s up with the skipping footage
Thanks for watching, we wanted to speed up video.
can I store aircraft fridge
Alex Whiteley What’s up Alex, thanks for watching! Time to plug this thing in 😎

@@DIYwithMichaelBorders Thanks. I guess its better to be safe than sorry especially considering how expensive fridges can be. My parents got one of those smart fridges with the screens and my parents waited a full 24 hours before turning it on.

Very cool & thanks for sharing. We love ours. Lots of room, modern look, & really bright inside.
One recommendation from us is... if you do not hook up a water line and use the icemaker in the freezer, make sure you turn the icemaker off. Below is a link to our video that talks more about this.
