In Britain to lock someone up for life W/O parole is only done when the crime is almost too horrific or heinous. Believe it or not but 25 is truly amazing especially because he has no previous arrests to his name.
I agree!! Such lenient sentences in the UK! He likely would have gotten a life sentence without parole in the US. 21 year old Hannah Payne got 43 years (without the possibility of parole) for shooting and killing a man in a fit of road rage. She definitely deserved a long prison term, but this was an extreme long sentence for her crime.

The first thing that told me something was fishy about her husband is when he received a call from Collettes work saying she hadnt come to work. Why did he phone the police at that early stage. You would sit back & thin where could she have gone to. Probably you would have phoned her mom to see if she was at home or phoned up friends of hers. Then you would wait to see if she came home from wherever it was that she went to. & then if she didnt come home later that night you might phone the police or maybe the following day.
The following day??? Glad I'm not closely or even remotely related to you. If my son wouldn't come home or call me to let me know he wouldn't come home I would be calling the cops after I called everyone.
Well i grew up in the days when there were no mobile phones. & there are thousands of kids / young adults who dont phone home to tell mom & dad they wont be home. Very few cases of someone not coming home on time leads to a crime. So if everyone phoned the police for every person not calling home & not being home on time then the cops wouldnt have time to catch criminals, which is their prime reason for being there. @@Ainaes-Feline

Yes, time and again bars and drinking precede these horrific outcomes...
I don't know about the present day but I'd guess most English people met their spouse at the pub.
8:45 why does this seem like an episode of desperate housewives? At least at this early point. I mean the narration is the same voice, same music
Seriously if you can't say anything nice on here don't comment , this is a true bloody story about a women that was killed so go back and watch your desperate house wives instead if that's what it reminds you off , we are all here not to judge , a life was taken and your negativity is just vile towards the poor women and her family
Well if you watch when she walks up the aisle which should be the happiest time, neither seem to notice the other one as she reaches the preacher. The groom doesn’t even look at his bride, he looks to his best man to move up to the altar with him. Neither looked happy.
HOW OLD ' over 20 years ago this maybe more...
They said it happened in 2009 and the brother said it affected him "even now in 2010." So it's about 13 years old at most. You really should pay more attention. Hahahahahaha.
@mdcs1992 if it happened in 2009, that will make it 14 years & 15 this year. My son was born 2009 & his 14. My youngest was born 2010 & he is 13, 14 next month!
Wot an ugly spiral
😢
Really a very stupid man. Did not plan it well. 😢😢😢
The cops are always skiting about how wonderful they were in this case….
Englands master criminal right here.

Good luck trying to interpret these English accents. They need elocution lessons.
12:41 what's wrong with her left eye? Yiiiiekes. Looks contagious
Ever heard of hay fever? Look it up, it can give a red and teary eye too.
You know this documentary is from 2010? (look at the numerals MMX at the end) and eyedrops for hay fever have got a lot better too in 14 years.
Not everyone is blessed with a perfect body in all area's.
Further on in the video, the red bit migrated more to her cheek. Ik seems like it’s something like a glitch.
@@_JoyceArt Tape/VHS camera glitch could be maybe..
Hay fever? Conjunctivitis? Rosacea?
Pink eye
It would be better if I could understand what is being said. This Is NOT English. The narrator is OK but everyone else, not at all.
🤡 It IS English. They are in England, hence they speak English. What country do you live in that DON'T recognize English? North Korea? 🤡
Try closed captioning. I find most of them quite easy to understand, that's just a local accent.
@@cindystewart5417 I can't read fast, I have brain damage from strokes & closed captions are hit / miss. Yea, I am one of very few with my problem not understanding them.
I'm from Australia and have no problem understanding the accents.
I'm from Sweden and I have no problem understanding the accents.
Charming girl wasn't she..kept getting pregnant before being married and expected her parents to raise the kid.
The different dates kept me off balance… first they say she died on the 9th then the 8th of July 🫤…it made it confusing!
