You can definitely see at 1:54 when the VOX track comes on but he doesn't hit the pedal. I wonder why he does this, surely he can tap the pedal on and off in the chorus.
He used to do it himself, in the X era, but I know from experience it's annoying to turn on and off contantly, this way he can focus on his performance more, rather than concentrating on turning this one pedal on and off (something most of the audience wont even notice takes an effort)
I'll do I see fire, I've started it already. Just need to find a good recording of him playing it, nicest I have found so far is the BBC Radio 1 big weekend but we'll see
Amazing work mate, just your subscriber’s request if you could break down “Take it back/superstition/ain’t no sunshine” performance that one’s pretty complex. Thanks mate, amazing stuff keep up the good work 👍
@@bloodblits1 Thanks. As described in the description, for this songs, Ed has a technician that turns the vox channel on and off throughout the song. The pedal flashes yellow when it's not Ed pressing it, and Green when it is Ed pushing the pedal
@@Robin_0011 RC20 and VOX dont have anything, but RC20 takes input from the guitar and mic at the same time, VOX just has the microphone's input. This isn't universal, as for different songs he has different setups, for example on the Castle OnThe Hill video, he has a Reverb effect on the RC20 channel.
The Sheeran Loopers guys really need to pay you to make more of these. Easily the best breakdown of Ed's looping flow I've ever seen.
For real bro you need a partnership
Can't even imagine the amount of work needed to visualize it. Thanks a lot!
thank for you working so hard to make this video
These videos are awesome man

u gotta make more of these vids! especially with the new sheeran loopers. 📈
Thanks for uploading this, really helpful. I know you probably won’t do this but it would be great to see I see fire

Hadn’t thought of doing that one. Interesting idea
At 3:08 vox channel turned onn and off for the "ahh la um laa laa" but ed was away from loop station and he clearly didn't press the button
This is mentioned in the description.

Both "Guitar" and "Boom" records the exact same thing right? Like there's no added reverb or EQ on these switches, right?
I think that the Guitar input is clean, and hte BOOM one has an EQ cutting out the mids and maybe boosting the ~90Hz frequencies
@@brodyoliverbassett7579 hmm, how about RC20 and VOX?
