This is a very good daily commuter bike for those who ride in city for 1-2 hours in traffic. The ride ergonomics, suspension, engine tune, light weight, fuel efficiency and price make it a unique daily commuter.

The ADV thing aside.. It's a pretty handsome looking bike..
It's a low cc but great performance, and cheap too

User of Honda Hornet CB160R first version here, am from mexico and these ADV bikes are very popular, between the vstrom 250, kawasaki versys 250, ktm adventure, would be awesome if honda get this model to my country, am happy with the Hornet v1, and after looking reviews, videos and images of this CB200X this is the bike than i'll want, it's an urban adventurer Hornet and like it, have the looks of a big adventurer but are a small class adventurer, and that's better for an economy affected by the lethal pandemic, kudos for honda for making this bike and please release to mexico.
People talk about big bikes and adventure bikes when we plan to visit Ladakh, but honestly all you need a well maintained or well serviced bike of any capacity from 100-1000CC... I went to Ladakh a week ago with my Honda X Blade all the way from West Bengal and it was a 19 Days trip and I drove around 6700 kilometers... And honestly speaking I didn't face any issue... Just remember get your bike serviced properly before the ride, during the ride and after the ride... I cruised my bike around 100 KMPH on Highways (Not after Pathankot to Leh) and it performed really well...
On my opinion it's quite good
But this is not an adventure bike
It's just an hornet with adv kits
Instead of getting an aftermarket cheap adv kits we can consider this 😂

More good looking than mosquito looking xpulse
Wrong - it shares the same Hornet 2.0 engine but the body is way different jst bcz it's on Hornets Platform doesn't mean this is Cheap ( I've personally taken Test Ride of it and it's vry vry good Sports Tourer, vry smooth pickup and power I would definitely suggest it for people who love touring just like me ( Note- I'm too gonna purchse this in RED )

I agree with you on 1:10 but I completely disagree on 1:13. Because, RTR 200 4V offers more and a lot more.
Skipping Dual channel ABS when even brands like YAMAHA is offering at 1.34 Lakhs.

I don't agree with you when it comes to cruising speed which you mentioned as 105-110kph. This bike carries exactly the same engine from Hornet 2.0 and the top speed of Hornet 2.0 is around 125kph. For a bike with such less top speed and which has only 2valves, cruising speed can be only around 80-90kph. In my opinion this is a good looking bike with a stupid engine.
Over hyped Hornet 2.0 engine without an Oil cooler and Paper type engine oil filter..
Hornet 2.0 and Unicorn 160 are the only 160+ Cc bikes in India without Oil coolers and external Paper type engine oil filters . This bike has no dual channel ABS but it is priced on par with 200-250 Cc bikes which are equipped with oil coolers and dual channel ABS .

Just bought this. I had Hornet 2.0 before. Before i bought CB200x , i tried many bikes. I did not want to buy CB200X just because it's Honda.
I felt this is the best engine and feel i could get.
Honda definitely knows whether this bike needs oil cooler or paper type oil filter. They know their systems and metallurgy. The Japanese are far ahead when it comes to heat management.
You guys are acting like you know better than the Honda engineers themselves about the engine. Low compression engines generally do not any external cooling. Having a reliable air cooled engine is million times better than an unreliable liquid cooled one.
@@amardeepv7466 which 200 cc bike has oil cooled engine, dual channel ABS, and this kinda looks and mileage, at this price. Please suggest. I'm ready to buy.

bajaj should work on an adventure motorcycle with the current 200cc engines which are currently used in rs200 and ns200
They already have honda cbr 250r engine which is super refined and provide decent power just few tweaks and it's good for adventure bike.

.... wanted to buy bullet es 350 x ... but RE ditched me ... then i purchased Hero's Xpulse 200 ....riding it since a year .... but not felt comfortable ... want to switch over to honda 200 x is it a right move ..... well i been using Activa since 2007 ... on engine refinement nothing can beat Honda products
Nice video Dino as usual....The only complain I have about this review is when you were going over the speed breaker instead of talking about the suspension and shock absorbing capability you were talking about how it is not a smaller cb500x. I had to bring this point as the only thing I wanted to know about cb200x is whether it is as stiff as hornet 2.0 or better. Looking forward to see more videos from you.
suspension is better tuned for comfort bro, and can withstand jumps too, so it is a good all rounder bike

~✨Xpulse always value for money💖.One thing I disappointed on Xpulse is the cut on chase where the silencer pipe starts. Hopefully Hero might care it on new Xpulse4v.

I compared the Hornet 2.0 engine and CB200X engine, of brand new bikes, in the showroom. many people think both are same. But if you compare, you will notice that the one in CB200X is far more smoother. The Torque curve is also slightly different. How is it so? Did they give a bigger connecting rod while keeping bore and stroke same? Did they increase the offset?
How stiff is the rear suspension compared to the hornet ?
Really it can handle 105-110 kmph in long distance rides with some few tea breaks?😁
Nope personally i own a hornet, crusing speed lies btw 85 to 95,,thats it, dont expect more
I can hear the grunting sound at 100 + km/hr

With that stiff suspension, i wonder how you call it an Adv bike. Its suspension is very bad for very bad roads. On good roads, the bike is gem
95% of times we normal guys ride on good roads in cities. This is an urban cruiser anyways, not an offroader.

How many days we do offroading in city rides?
They are busy making activas, hence this result, it is no where close to xpulse 200, hornet 2.0 is good but lakhs of problems coming from the users, quality is going down day by day

Xpulse 200V ride comfort is not good. Seat height too much.the silencer position won't allow you to fit a side box,. Mostly useless bike.

This bike at the price honda offer atleast they should Low seat option for short riders and well as a charging port and a tall windscreen the current one looks unfinished and honda doesn't care about that. The only reason for me to cancel my booking was this bike doesn't offer much it's bloody air cooled engine now that Suzuki has brought the vstrom250sx which offer good features and runs pretty good on maintenance I'll be gong with that. Also make a Comparison video between ( Vstrom250sx VS cb200x

Integrated indicators on the hand guard, which is a bummer because if something hits the guard, the indicator light will be gone. There should've been indicators on the front below handle bars as well. Only 12 litres tank, 17 inch wheels only, only 167 ground clearance for a bike that's intended for adventure bike ☹️. No dual channel ABS. At first I thought this would be my next bike, but disappointed.

It's a daily commuter bike in adv disguise. It cannot offer offroading nor long touring(lack of 6th gear,air cooled engine,180cc engine). Wish Honda offered more in this price

Nope, the Xpulse is a far better motorcycle than this. Hero has it spot on this time. Very disappointed with Honda, but its not the first time they have not taken Indian buyers seriously.

Pulsar 200ns top speed 140 kmph in comparison to it, Honda 200x still looks performance at lower level. Top speed of Honda 200x is 125kmp.

Honestly, this is not an offroading or adventure bike. It's a good looking premium bike, which is meant for ttue riders, and not for off roaders.
