Building a bike jump out of my front door
Вставка

- Today, I'm in possession of a front door. Obviously the only sensible thing to do with this door is to build a bike jump out of it, but we'll need to keep those windows. Find out what we build and more today on Berm Peak.

It's actually a normal sized door and Seth is just shrinking
arent we all shrinking tho i thought that was normal nowadays
Thats not nicw
Bruh. 😂🤣😂🤣
I came to the comment sections to say this lmao 😂
Glad I'm not the only one seeing it
This is the perfect opportunity to name this feature “door dash”. If feel this is too perfect to pass up 😂. Great job here 👏
Yes. So much yes.
this is the one
Free advertising no way
get it sponsored by them. free taco every send lol
Yeah I like it
As the door is the first of three jumps you could call it "Opportunity Knocks" , Great vid as always keep it up seth
I've learnt this overtime watching Seth's videos, but it still surprises me how much he shows in his videos, while most other channels would most likely resort to showing highlights, Seth has no Shame in showing difficulties and mistakes during his projects, which I think was well emphasised in this vid, it just gives me a sense of appreciation for the effort put into his videos.
Not something I would have expected, but if someone is going to build a feature out of a door, it's definetly you Seth.
Lol but if this is normal size door... Is he like 4'9
@@ape337YT I think 5’4
@@egg3996 maybe...
Yeah f N-Perms
All my homies hate N-Perms
Seth. I know you push safety in everyone of your videos but this thing is not safe and will not hold up to the test of time. The steel is a great idea but shouldn't of cut it and been a few inches above the windows. Then ran down the Door further. You also need to reinforce the door horizontally. Angle brakets from your pilings should do the trick. Hate to be that guy. But your mistake was treating the door like it's a solid peice of wood.
Knew Seth was short, but great to finally get a sense of scale with that totally normal size door :p
How short? Cause either that is a 12 foot door, or he is like 3 foot tall
Seth is 5'7. He's not that short.
@@djamelhamdia134 he is not 5'7" 😂. He's like 5'4"
@@djamelhamdia134 Same height as me :)
@@djamelhamdia134 i believe he’s 5’3 😂
Wow it’s really been 6 months since we got any trail building content from Seth. This was the last one. I NEED MORE SETH CMON
I love your door! The epoxy over the glass was a great idea! I would suggest going out and replacing the metal bracing with some that are 2-3 inches longer so the stresses are carried to the door body(?) better. As you made it, it would keep the wooden pieces from flexing. However, if that door is built like most, it's just one piece of glass held in by trim wood and finish nails. And then trimmed out to look like multiple panes. I don't think trim wood and finish nails would take that kind of abuse for too long.
Obviously, I wasn't there to get a good look at it, so my suggestion is just a suggestion.
A door. Freakin' awesome 👍
Listen I know Seth is only 5’4 but that door looks massive 😂
I clicked just to find out if it was a massive door or if it was just Seth being short 😂
Rich people have tall doors
It's common if you have a two story entry. The door looks more impressive from the outside, more proportional to the space from the inside, and practically is a little easier for moving in big furniture.
hahagahagahaha🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The door's only six foot tall
I think a good name for it would be "The Welcome Mat"
He should put a welcome mat on the lip
Always love seeing you build new features! Very inspiring.
Yeah right
Seth, you are a beast building, and riding i would never thought of building that, but you can do anything with your imagination and skills, great job right there
Call it the corridor!!!! It links to the trail because the trees make a sort of corridor on either side of the trail. Love the vids Seth!!
the entirety of his trail system is made up of corridors
CoriDoor 😩😩😩
@@SenyaLikesToSki yeah but still I think it would still fit it decently
I like the idea of calling it “ding dong” - especially because it’s 2 different lines you can take
Such a great addition. Good work Seth. Boosting it over the door looks sweet.
This feature is AWESOME!!! It’s one of my favorites on Berm Peak
Didn’t think he would use the glass, but I guess Seth makes everything work.
As soon as he mentioned saving the glass I wanted to yell epoxy lol. Glad he had the same thought and it worked out.
The "A door Able jump" sounds perfect!
Oh hi dad!
That jump is adoorable! 🤘😜🤘
I think “ The Floor Door” would be a great name :) I love your channel so much and it brings me tons of joy watching what you do.
This is the coolest and most creative feature I've ever seen you've given me inspiration to build one on my own property
Just when I thought Seth would never have a "reasonable" use for a SpeedMixer!
That over the door transfer is sweet! Looks like maybe you could pull that lip forward more on the left for the on/off move to be able to hit it with a touch more speed.
Nice! Can’t wait for a top to bottom ride through with the completed section.
Thanks for posting. Love your channel.
Hey Seth, I’ve just got to say i love your videos and have got me outside more and be more creative.
When I saw that door I thought about a Teeter Totter, that has a mechanism that opens the door, a little bit behind the Teeter Totter, so you ride throught the opened door in a frame.
But this one is great too.
Only problem is you lose speed on a teeter totter so it’s not as flowy, but stil a great idea!
Been too long for something like this. Love your content. Cant wait for more
Great video being by yourself and good thinking’s
That contractor was pissed when you wanted to keep the door. They defiantly wanted to use it somewhere else
Love the ideas😂, keep them coming!
Def the coolest and most creative thing you've made, even if it's a simple jump
"Ive just gotta go a little bit over the door"...and SENDS it huge...classic Seth!
I love the hard work and dedication that you put into this channel Seth!!
Love the ideas very original
i admire you ntgl. you found smth you enjoy and you keep making it more fun
Literally living the dream. Great video, Seth.
The flow door. Seeing how it's kinda acting as a floor(ground) and seeing how it allows you to keep the flow going I think the name fits.
I love this! Possibly spray RainX or dirt/water repellant on the resin to fight dirt or mud in the windows! Just a suggestion!
That is so cool. I love biking and building my own jumps/ramps. You have inspired me to try to build with my little brother, and following some of your ramp tutorials.. It made it very easy.
Hope everyone is having a great day : )
I just love the berm peak building, love from Sweden 🔥
such a big door for such a small guy ! hahah GREAT VIDEO !😂
i love your "if you dont want it ill make a jump out of it " mind set really fun videos come out of that :D
After lunch I'm going to go build some mountain bike features at a place, this video is giving me a bit of inspiration for some jumps and drops.
Looked very smooth
You can call it "The Keeper" because you kept the door and you'll keep building the trail, great videos, wonderful ideas! 😍
What about the floor door
i'm honestly waiting for seth to design and build a tunnel feature through the building
You don't get enough respect for how much of a hard worker you are, keep it up! The results speak for themselves :D
Your my inspiration man you are the only man on planet earth that can made such a thing from a door Seth you are my true inspiration ❤️❤️❤️
The level of creativity you have is crazy Seth. I would never look at a door and think “hm maybe I could make a jump out of that 😂.” That’s gotta be one of the sickest ways to repurpose something. Keep doing what you do I freakin love you or stuff 🤙
Call it door dash?
Well I think that was a positive build and test... Top job sir
Brilliant Seth, your the man,
Name it the door knocker
When you're pouring epoxy you have to do it at right temperature to prevent bubles from forming in epoxy mass
Or you can just use something to warm it enough to pop the bubbles off. 😅
I vote to call it the soardoor 😂 nice lil addition to the trail, thanks for sharing!
Great use of the door
But world have loved to see Seth’s ingenuity and figure out how to ride through the door
If there were two doors back to back then it'd be "door to door"
Most people tend to avoid that
I’m not buying that.
I have a feeling the door is normal sized and Seth is just that small
I’ve met him and that might be true
That feature is adoorable!
that was so much more rad than expected, some serious airtime jumping over that door too...
I think a cool name for this trail would be something like “Wood Knocker” or “Door Knocker”! Any thoughts?
If you guys havent realized yet, the door is a standard size just Seth is so small
yes
Awesome. Awesome rider, person, and thinker. Would love to ride there someday. Love from Mexico
This is so cool. Absolutely hell yea.
We need old Seth. Bike hacks!
I would straight up call it “The Door”
That's catchy
I love mountain bike riding cause of seth thanks a billion
Basically all my trail features are like this! What a great use for a door!🚪
Like Sammy Boy suggested, Door Dash is pretty much the perfect name for this new feature 😂
As someone who has mixed and poured a lot of epoxy, it was the first thing that came to mind when you mentioned strengthening the glass.
Also for a first timer, you did a great job! Epoxy is a lot harder than it looks
definitely MorDoor as u said, sounds awesome.
Hey Seth I started watching your channel to see about bike repairs to my bike. I have learned a lot thanks to you. One of the things that sticks out is your willingness to move large ungainly objects with your body.
Tight lines Brother.
@TELEGRAM ME AT officialbermpeak ?????? Is this legitimate? Phishing? I watched the entire video. Don't believe Seth was giving away a bike.
hay Seth another great video been watching you for a while and love them. You have inspired me to buy my first mountain bike today (from a local bikeshop) I just want to say thank you for inspiring me to start mountainbiking and pls keep up the graet videos
The side gap over the door was wicked, epoxy was a great idea also sand was too. Awesome video as always, definitely learned something thanks!
Next level recycling! 🤘
as always, interesting and entertaining. thank you
this is the reason im subscribed to seth (and for the cooking tutorials ofc)
I been watching your videos for a long time love the videos
everything Seth builds looks awesome and I bet it rides nice too
i really love watching ur videos especially when ur building things..
What a cool idea Seth keep it up
So awesome!
I love building videos of new features
I don't even have a bike but that's my favorite channel. Is so much fun to watch
Thanks Seth! :)
That was a really good idea with the epoxy. Nice work!
@Berm Peak, do you remember when u lived in a small house with a small backyard, and you showed me how to make a small bike stand, painting it red and putting the blue Orange hardtail on it? Look how far have you land it :) Im so glad that I've been a follower from the early days man. I love you so much
Fantastic 👍
This is awesome
Great idea that's smart I wish I thought of that kep doing what your doing love your vids.
This Dude has the coolest job in the world!
So cool thanks for making this video
Reduce, reuse, recycle ♻️
Nice work!
Hey Seth, I wanted to mention something kinda different, but kinda the same!
I’ve been watching your videos for a year or 2 now and have to sa you have become really really good at putting these videos together! Well done. Also I appreciate that you speak professionally..but friendly. No swearing, clean good fun and great accurate info helping us learn.

I love a good old fashioned build and ride :)
