Im sure the girlies were super excited!! White makes all the pinks and pastel cases really stand out! Wish they just went all the way and made the power brick white too. I only like black but love what Valve is doing to keep Steam Deck in peoples mouths again.
Ugh, so torn on whether to get white or black. Sold my CS2 inventory to buy a steam deck to play at lunch hour at work, so not sure if I’ll even like it. White is just sooooo expensive. Either go all in on white or grab the 512gb black. Hard to decide.

Yeah exactly :) I mentioned it's pretty much the same than the regular 1TB OLED model, however in the end I compared it mostly with the LCD version so there are some more differences between those two!
Hi. How do you get the Startup animation and the keyboard? I went to the Customization and Keyboard menus in settings and I didn't see them there. I also got the White today.
Im geting some custom buttons for mine white LE 😊 and white thumbstick grips from skull and co they are awesome i prefer different one left and right they sell a pack of 3 different ones
@natdanainavy more defined colours. Its much more vibrant. Especially when you compare both panels side to side. I got lucky for my black LE, the BOE panel is fine, some were annoyed by the amount of dead pixels they had, i got very lucky. Im still glad with the samsung panel in my white LE tho. A tiny bit less vibrant but nothing major.
Startup screens and keyboard themes are tied to your account I think, so you could technically get another regular Deck and still have access to the exclusive stuff. Correct me if I'm wrong though
Love the color ❤ I would of get one but i already own a 4080 laptop so no need for this. I use my tablet with parsec to play my games when im on the go. But beautiful color indeed good job valve.

I really like how the white sd turned out. The thumbsticks are the same as the standard OLED model. Just white instead of black.

It didn’t come with a courier delivery box to protect the Steam Deck OLED’s brown retail packaging?
No it just came in the box with shipping label applied!
Think for the premium they ask for it I atleast expect the charger to be white also, ah well guess i use my Oneplus for that instead.
Can you please check the serial number in Settings to see if the OLED screen is from Samsung or BOE?

Just got mine, and it doesn’t detect the controller. Anyone have any idea what’s happening? The only thing that works is the touchscreen.
Is that in desktop mode? Have you tried resetting the deck? If it doesn’t work I’d recommend contacting valve!
