I always chuckle when city people think 45 minutes or an hour is such a "trek" to get somewhere. That is nothing for people like me who live in a small town. 😊
Hehe, well it is a "trek" because of the crazy traffic you have to fight to get there. What should be a 20 minute drive is often double because of congestion.
I've been wanting to visit the one in Austin. Maybe make a day trip from Fort Worth to Waco and Austin. Thanks for sharing your visit.
That would be a wonderful day trip!
TY for sharing your EC visit! So-o much to look at. That was vicarious fun especially as I don't think I'll ever get to a store. That purple "gratitude" journal you bought peaked my interest. I liked how the store was set up and glad to hear it was a happy experience. :)
It was such a fun experience - glad you enjoyed coming along!
I've been to the EC store in Austin TX a few times and it is DANGEROUS for my wallet!!
For real! Something about seeing the products in person just makes you ready to buy!
This store has permanently closed. It seemed so sudden.
I know! It made me so sad!
I keep forgetting I live 15 minutes from the store.
Its a fun place to spend an afternoon!
Oh how I wish I’d known about this store. I spent a lot of time near there at the hospital and this would have been a wonderful reprieve. Thanks for the video.
It is a very lovely place to visit for sure.
HOW have I not known this was at Mosaic?!?!
It's tiny, but it is there!
Stopped using EC after the scandal. Will never go back
I stopped as well, but now she has left the company and they have had a lot of turnover at the upper levels. Was very impressed with the new CEO at the last Go Wild.
@@ScrappyWife I am aware but they need to rename company. Then I may revisit them.
I was primarily EC for years, then I caught the happy planner bug two years ago. I decided to buy an hourly planner and a few desk organizers. Everything was thrown into a box, no coupons, nothing of the touches that used to be part of the brand. Everything was damaged. Needless to say, it made me appreciate the care that HP still places on their items. I was wondering if my experience was a fluke, but there were reddit complaints from 2022 where people had the same experience. Darn. Hope they return to their previous quality.
Was it HP or EC that you weren't pleased with the quality?
@@ScrappyWife Oh, it was surprisingly EC. I hadn't purchased anything from them in over a year, but I bought a Budget planner and an hourly lifeplanner, with a bunch of lavender acrylic desk organizers. My vegan leather cover was full of scuffs and it had scraped off half my initials. Then, I saw the reddit posts about similar experiences. When you consider that you can get a planner for $8.99, some supertips, a few stickers on Clearance, it really makes EC's $$$ planner and accessories seem very expensive.
Happy to report that they just made it right. I started a chat, showed the photos to the rep in real time and they issued a new order of the Lifeplanner. Seamless customer rep experience that doesn't happen much in life these days. I'm off to punch the old Lifeplanner into my HP Frankenplanner. lol. Because...that's the best of both worlds.
Thank you for sharing. We don’t have a store in our area but I’m glad we can order online. I like the grateful planner!!
What city are you in? I’m in Frederick.
I'm down in Prince William County :)
@@ScrappyWife My sister lives in your county. Nice talking to you!
What is “Go Wild”? I’m not familiar with that? Is it an event?
It is a Planner Conference that happens every year, put on by "Wild for Planners". This year, it is in Washington DC.
@@ScrappyWife Oh that’s probably the conference you went to last year at Disney. Sounds like fun! Maybe someday I can attend. I don’t know if they ever have one near Oklahoma. Thanks for the info! Appreciate all you do! Blessings
Was there a few years ago. Love to see the new store layout and need to go up to the DC area again. I do NEED the DC and Virginia covers. DC native and have lived many years in Virginia before I retired. Thanks for the great video.
You should!
I have switched to mainly EC because their paper is my favorite and for the Star Wars stuff! Not everyone likes cute and floral.
Love the Star Wars line for sure!
Wow, what a beautiful store! Unfortunately, nothing like that around here. It reminds me of Chapters, the beautiful layout and set up of the store! Thank you for the tour.
Oh, that sounds like an intriguing store for sure!
I made this into a road trip and drove the 9 hours from Kentucky to visit the store. I wasn't disappointed!
That is so awesome!
I am certainly going there next week... as we don't have one near us...
Yes! Definitely check it out when you are in town!
Wish I was close to one. But it’s beautiful ❤
It is pretty cool to get to visit it in person!
I LOVE the faith journal, it will be amongst my regularly used planners for a long, long time. ✝️
That is awesome!
@@ScrappyWife I noticed they have a Faith and a Christian Faith journal? I am currently using two HP verticals as my Bible study and Memory Verse/Scripture writing journals. Was intrigued by it (I love the Mohawk paper, but I gotta have my discs). Apparently, the. Christian Faith Journal has verses scattered about and an emphasis on the Bible, while the "Faith" has prompts, more generic. Yikes.
Nice stuff ⚾️
Thanks Ann!
🥰❤
Thanks so much for watching!
