@@wza223-fo3mc I do indeed have a clue and despite being on network tv it still should have been bigger and more highly rated than it was. You, my friend, have no clue.
Anyone remember the cartoon "Denver the last dinosaur?" I've had that theme song stuck in my head periodically for the past 30 years. Well, that and the "Camp Candy" theme song. Lol.
Michael Jacobs (one of the two creators of the show) said "We certainly wanted to make the episode to be educational to the audience", and as people knew dinosaurs were no longer alive, "the show would end by completing the metaphor and showing that extinction."
This is one of my favourite tv shows growing up as a kid to the point where I taught my niece to say that to her father embedding Leeds been 30 odd years but I still taught my knees to say not the mama not the mama not the mama to her father😂 and I do really miss this show although there's a few more shows I remember like HR puff and stuff that show was a rather dark so as well and I sat there and watch the 8-hour final marathon of the entire of HR puff n stuff
I remember the teen daughter growing a tail, which to a dinosaur was the same as a young woman developing breasts. I imagined all the girls at my school with tails when i watched the episode, and thought of how they would style them or if they would even be allowed to show them publicly. I feel like with a tail everyone would want to whip theirs out freely so i doubt they would be hidden. Missed opportunity and wow 25 years later and i still trip on that because of that show.
why do people get this wrong. The last episode of Dinosaurs is called Scent of a Reptile. Fran and Charlene are thrilled when Charlene gets her adult scent, which will attract her perfect mate. Charlene's euphoria turns to horror, however, when her match turns out to be not only the school janitor - but also just like Earl. Fearful that she will lead an ordinary domestic life like her mom, Charlene decides to go against tradition and change her scent as well as her life.
Criminally underrated show.
no it wasnt it was literally on network tv during primetime. You have no clue

@@christopherfox13 the show was not under rated at all you just wanted to use that word for internet points 😂
@@wza223-fo3mc I firmly disagree.
@@christopherfox13 they literally won a primetime emmy 😂😂
Best dark sitcom ending EVAR💯💯💯
Reminded me of Fragel Rock
It should...it was a Jim Henson production
Yep loved them both!
The last episode was sad.
Yeah I remember going around calling my father "not the mama".
I did the same thing & included a pan along with it which is a memory I completely forgot about until a family member reminded me🤣🤣🤣
It really wasn’t for children
Same with most of the 90's sitcoms.
Look at Roseanne
Or Married With Children.
The best kid shows were for adults...
Loved this show.....have da whole series on dvd
Oh my gosh me and my husband were just talking about this not too long ago
Such a good show!!
I loved this show growing up!!! Looking back now, I guess I really didn't comprehend some of the references lol. Oh man, brings me back!
As the snow was falling and the temperature was dropping ttv was teaching lessons back then not pushing an agenda

I’ll never forget the last episode. I watched that show faithfully every week.❤
I loved this show when I was a kid. I got all the adult humor.
my favourite show 🥹
The finale of Alf was pretty dark too
I don’t remember the ending! 😮
Right but at least they cleared it up in a follow up movie
@@darkjediMIKMovie title: Project ALF
Right, completely left it in the air. Wondered why it ended so abruptly
@@missleigh5544 The Government catches ALF and hauls him away.
Why do I love this is personality so much?
Loved this show
My favorite Michael Jacob's show after Boy Meets World
Loved this show! 😅
Quick, call the angry mob! Number is on the fridge! 😂
I loved that show. God it was so weird.
It's on Disney +, so much nostalgia
There was only one season.. but it has lived for 30+ years in our minds.
Not the momma
One of my favorite shoes ever! ❤
That was such a great show, but the kids nowadays I don't think we'll understand
This was state of the art television.
I loved this show so much. The ending was nuts
I am a huge fan
I loved that show
Born in 1987 I remember watching this as a child
I am 35. I watched this when I was a kid and star trek x files. It was the 90s.
I remember it well.
I used to watch this show periodically. Never knew it got cancelled. Never saw the ending.
Your hair looks beautiful
That last episode made my whole family cry

Yes I remember that one... When the baby asked that hit hard and the look outside...
It’ was amazing so glad it’s on Disney+
Anyone remember the cartoon "Denver the last dinosaur?" I've had that theme song stuck in my head periodically for the past 30 years. Well, that and the "Camp Candy" theme song. Lol.
That's dark because it's reality. Never paid attention to what he was saying until now. &do remember last ep
Then the mom's face
It’s still pretty dark lol. Good times
Baby...."Again!.."
I remember watching on TV, after dinner. I was like…. “Huh, makes sense”
Was on ABC Monday nights, prime time. Revolutionary in its day for being the first TV show to use animatronics and actors
That ending broke me. I was way too young for that ending. I kind of want to watch it again but I hesitate due to the ending.
The ending broke my heart and brought tears to my eyes
Tara, you are stunning.
I remember this show and also being terrified of their looks lol
Oh man that notta momma 😂😂I forgot about that. The 90s man
We had that in the 70s /s
This was a mid 80's show
Meeee!!!!! I remember!!! This and ALF!!
I dislike it not because of how dark it was but that it was the last episode. ☹️
that last episode is getting to real now
I remember the steroids episode with the brother Robbie, that one stuck with me until this very day.
I loved that show.. Simpsons then dinosaurs..
Why? Because we say so
I had the SNES game.. lol it was pretty fun I think. Idk I was like 6 tho.
I loved dinosaurs when i was younger!
Man, i totally forgot about it
Thank you for reminding me 😂😂
Its still being shown in the uk.
I'm the baby, gotta love me
Im the baby, gotta love me. Again!
Last episode an asteroid hits the earth 😢 Great show
Oh yeah, the wife and I loved that. We have the VHS set... somewhere.
I don’t think the writers understood how connected the viewers were to the characters.
It was basically family guy but with dinosaurs
I think now Us 90s kids ARE pretty much dinosaurs now! 😌
Where’s the part where the baby flies across the room
I’m the baby gotta love me
Of course I do. I use to compare them to the show family matters look at them all the only differences they are dinosaurs and not a cop
“I da baby. I da baby”
omg Tara, I love you!!
Michael Jacobs (one of the two creators of the show) said "We certainly wanted to make the episode to be educational to the audience", and as people knew dinosaurs were no longer alive, "the show would end by completing the metaphor and showing that extinction."
Yes I do and the baby says smooth
Amazing show.
Worst F ending in tv history after Alf.

EMOTIONAL DAMAGE!!!!!!
Hurling day! Haha
I only remember “Not the momma”
The show was hilarious, then the finale was borderline traumatizing
I didn’t realize the family was black until 20 years later
NOT THE MAMA
Yes I do
I remember ALF ending on a downer too. But that’s technically an ‘80s show.
"We're gonna need a new Timmy!!"
Or was it Jimmy???
