Never knew how much I would enjoy seeing hikaru guess the elo, it really is like a billionaire guessing how much everyday groceries cost. Man is on an entirely different planet than the plebs he's rating.
Tbh both Levy and Hikaru did pretty poorly on this one. How neither of them recognised those 1300s who kept missing basic tactics like forks, pins, and discoveries, and just overall kept shuffling pieces about with no intent whatsoever; or how both failed to pick up on starkingly obvious displays of understanding such as fianchettoing the bishop, finding pins, doubling the rooks on an open file, etc in that 1000 game; or how they were both oblivious to that 1500's overtly (relatively) high-level ideas such as restricting the opponent's most dangerous piece, opening up the position while the opponent's king is still in the centre, as well White's constant awareness of tactics such as pins and discoveries; is, frankly, beyond me. I wouldn't say that Levy ended Hikaru's elo-guessing career. More like Hikaru ended his own elo-guessing career tbh as he had an absolute shocker of a guessing spree (especially those completely inexplicable 1950, 2100, and 900 guesses).

It's def because Levy was a chess teacher. Hikaru got so good so quickly that he could probably life off playing pretty early on so wouldn't have needed to teach as much as Levy did.
