When you set it to 1.96 once, it’ll stay at 1.96 for all new projects so that’s easy too :)

@@lilafromyoutube The nesting unnesting is great but you've had that in other videos plus the pin/unpin to clip for key frames-that was a game-changer... Set Media to frame size in the preferences is the one for me.. I've been right-clicking every time I drop in media.. BIG help. Stay the Best! Always great to "see" you!

interpret footage -> assume your frame rate... Thank you sooo much for this tip, I was in the "change speed manually for each clip" category. not anymore! :)
Great video! If you do another one, please consider an explanation as to why Premiere will not connect to Proxies anymore and gives an error of not being able to connect because your audio channels are not supported, even though you did the Pro Res Proxy. I have a project right now that gives this error when I have moved it to a new hard drive but the original still connects fine even when trying to open each on the same computer.
These are great tips…My biggest tip and time saver would be to never use the razor tool … instead map your shortcut B key to add edit. One of my other big WTF
for years is why can’t PP integrate the crop tool into there motion tab!
I use premiere, photoshop, illustrator, davinci resolve, audition, fl studio and more...
and YES, there's always some annoying thing that I cannot figure out for the life of me. My premiere footage was lagging but the "render and replace"
seemed to have fixed it

Thanks so much for the video! I do have a quick question if you don't mind. When I'm editing a video podcast in Premiere, the filler words and silence remover only works on the first audio clip, not the second one. Any ideas on how to fix this?

**Do not** mass apply interpret footage in the bins. Adobe has gone on record stating that interpret footage is not meant to be used in this manner. That's why your proxies get all messed up. Use the nest trick if you need to add additional Effects.
Interesting, I didn’t know! I never use proxies so haven’t experienced these issues.
Is there a way to select multiple clips and change the duration without changing the speed?
I’ll give you an example. Let’s say I only want the first 10 seconds of multiple clips. Is there a way of doing that? I repeat NOT changing the speed.
Yeah, select the clips, CTRL + R and then in the speed/duration window change the duration to 10 seconds.

tbh the stabilizer not working with slowed down clips is one of the reasons why i switched to davinci resolve. i have no idea why premiere can't do them together without workarounds

My jokes keep getting worse
that missing audio thing happned to me just yesterday, it drove me crazy and i could not for the life of me understand what was going on, i knew the file had audio cuz i opened it in vlc and the source monitior, i ended by reinstalling premire pro and resetting all settings. if only you had posted this a day sooner, i blame you for my misdeeds.

@@lilafromyoutube most of them. Some I’ve found other work around that work for me. Whenever I run into an issue I refer to your videos for help. Lost audio and the 1080/4K sizing are going to be the most valuable to me.
