- Batman the Animated Series Shadow of the Bat is a Batman board game created by IDW Games which I backed on Kickstarter some time ago. It's smaller in scope than the other Batman games I've played and very densely packed with enemies.

I believe it states in the rule book that the AI minions can only move 1x per turn even though they get 2 actions. That would have made things a little easier on Batgirl on her first turn.
Ah yeah I forgot about that but I think you’re right.
Yeah unless they're climbing as the rulebook says climbing isn't classed as a move action. But i could have read that completely wrong.
Enforcers also only get 1 action as well. (Since they also activate when other henchmen activate).
And the one enforcer that moved through the bystanders is not allowed to do that.
I love the mental image of our heroes trying to hero whilst being menaced by a cat.
Please continue. Unpainted is fine. I got a good(ish) deal for all in on ebay. Something to do during lockdown UK 2021/22. Waiting for it to arrive if the couriers aren`t all self isolating.

I've got no problem with unpainted minis, just glad for the videos. Regarding the availability of the game after the KS. I believe that the IDW has folded it's board games arm around this time this KS shipped so sadly I think it's unlikely this game will be available again unless the license it out to someone else to produce.
Going Forward, I would suggest finishing your Attack before rolling Catwoman's single die evade attempt - knowing whether she is going to evade the entire attack prior to making your decisions (such as using focus to reroll a big hit for example) gives you a huge advantage.
Something I’d like to see is some different Stretch Goals or bonus characters other than Batman/Batgirl.

Do you have to set Batman's middle dice before rolling them? *edit* I see on his card that it needs to be set prior to rolling.
Only 15 minutes in, but why didn't Batman move and attack after making his ranged attack? Also minions can only take one move action per activation and figures cannot move through other figures UNLESS those figures are knocked down or knocked out. Batgirl should not be getting swarmed in the first turn.
Wait why are you ignoring Escalation? It's a thing because thematically, the idea of Batman is a huge motivation for Arkahm Villains, and mechanically, Batman's stats are incredibly powerful so it balances things out.
Escalation should impact actual Arkham Villains if I'm not mistaken...so it shouldn't impact this scenario, but just completely ignoring it it instances where it applies bc you don't get why it's there is an interesting choice to make.

Like what others have stated, escalation only applies to Arkham Asylum affiliation and no else, so Penguin, Catwoman, Man-Bat, hired guns, etc aren't affected by it.
So, yeah, escalation wouldn't have effected this scenario.
