As with many reviews I will be watching to see which tool you go to most frequently while working in your builds. That is the true test for me. I don’t know of anyone who likes sanding so speed is always desired. Thanks for an honest review Josh.
In the market for one, havebeen comparing the makita bosch and maxxt. Need one with the turbo function for removing and roughing fibre glass pool surface for recoating. In Australia the makita $520aud bosch $ 715aud and maxxt $220 on ebay. Bosch looks the best but at Aud $ the Maxxt looks good value. Any other brands i should consider.
@@brendanjones7492 if you only plan to use it on occasion the maxxt is a great value. If you are going to use it regularly then I would spend a little more and get the Bosch.
It seems to be a decent sander. I would spend a little more and get the Bosch. It is just more refined. I am still using the Mirka clone maxxt sander and have good luck with it.
@@WalnutAlley interesting. Been going back and forth between the mirka clones (pioneerworks) and the Bosch. Do you have a preference between those two?
@@raizt1596 to be honest, I am pulling out the Bosch for about everything. I just like the feel. It gives me the fizz. At least with flat surfaces. If I need to “palm” the sander I use the maxxt mirka clone or a pneumatic orbital.
@@WalnutAlley gives you the fizz? Someone has been watching Wranglerstar. Yeah I think I'll get the Bosch if it goes on sale again. $330 is kinda high right now. The Mirka clone is like $140.

I think its clear that the bosch on both modes has zero vibration and that makes you have the full control on it and that matters a lot!
I kept the Bosch, and gifted the Maxxt. They are both good sanders, with the Bosch coming out as the more refined option.

@@brendanjones7492 I don’t hear great things about the makita
Watching comparison the makita falls short for the price. @@WalnutAlley

Will only use it for maybe 5 days in a month, but can buy 3 Maxxt's ( $220 Aud deal) for the price of 1 Bosch $715
@@brendanjones7492 with those prices I would just go with the maxxt. It will do the job.
Havent seen much about this version of the maxxt. Ive only seen reviews of the Mirka clone.

@@raizt1596 you missed the sale. It was around 280 not long ago. Yes, I do watch wranglerstar. I find him very relatable.
