Steven, may I offer you a suggestion about your keys? Have an ELECTRONIC LOCK (punch code) installed on the door that goes from your garage to your house. That way, if you can force your way into the garage, you can get into the house with a numerical code. If you're in your car, you can just use the garage door opener. Easier than trying to bend/break a grille to get inside. You might also tape a spare housekey inside your glove compartment with duct tape, then put all your boring paperwork on top of it. You might consider stashing a spare car key in your luggage, if you use the same luggage all the time. If that's a problem for TSA (will a small key set off the beeper or be a problem IN a suitcase?) you can get one of those (less safe) magnetic boxes to stash the key under the car. There's nothing worse than not being able to get into your house.
You speak as though none of the rest of us have done something as harebrained (this is from the man who left his debit card in a parking meter - recommendation-don't do that).
So glad you have your keys and that they didn't fall in to the wrong hands!! In looking at your Tommy Bahama shirt...could that be like an Island Christmas-type shirt? The flower somewhat resembles a Poinsettia and then with the Reindeer combination it looks like a shirt you could wear during Christmas time if you lived on the islands...just my impression for what it's worth. Big hugs to Buddy and Eleanor!!
I lost my key fob for my car. God knows where it went to luckily I had another one. A new one is $ 400 for a new key fob . how could you just give away your animal? I would rather give away my right arm and my left arm before I just gave away my dogs they’re my life. They’re part of my family people just don’t care about their animals😡
I once left my wallet in a pair of dress slacks and hung the slacks in my closet. It took a lot of searching to find my wallet but it was right where I left it.
Oh my gosh. This vlog was such a cliff hanger. I am so glad to hear your keys were in the car. I wish we could find out about the dog……Poor thing. She must’ve needed to really get to Tampa. That is horrible.
Oh Steven. I've never laughed as much as I did at the end of this video . I just love you. You are not a moron. I'm glad I'm in good company. I had a similar thing happen to me. I went on a trip a few years back. We flew and had several different flight changes. When I got to my destination, I realized I had no keys. I had no idea where or when I lost them.. Got back home, went looking for my car, and guess what......found the car with the keys in the center console. You are lucky nobody drove away with your car, especially Vegas. I'm glad it all worked out the way it did.
I went to the Mall with my friend in my brand new red thunderbird and when we were going back to the car I realized I didn't have the keys. Retraced our steps shopping, checked with lost & found. Similar end to the story...I left them in the trunk lock cylinder. Just hanging there for everybody to see. and the lot was full. You're not the moron...the woman who thought she could just walk onto the plane with her dog or that young girl traveling with rabbits...!!!!??!!
So glad that your story has a happy ending 🎉. God protects fools and drunks and personally, I qualify for both..😀❤️🤗. Great haul. You look divine in everything.
This weekend was rough flying..up for 24 hours straight..couldn't get out of Chicago..2 plans with mechanical issues but I got to see my parents up north so there's always a silver lining. I hang my keys on my neck with a lanyard hook..it has put years back on my life. I'm a loser..of my keys that is??!!
Hi Steven, yes I agree with your statement of you having to be more aware..back to back forgetting your food prep at home, now your keys, you’re getting older (I can say that because I’m just one year younger than you and I’m going through the same thing of being forgetful of important things)😂 Yes it’s funny, but sometimes we have to laugh to keep from crying. I’m glad that overall you had a good trip and so so so glad that you have your keys. 🎉 Thanks for posting.
Don’t feel bad, Steven! I left something very important at home during my 3-day work trip over the 4th of July. It made the trip infinitely more stressful, but I was still legal to fly… so that’s something. All this to say I felt your pain during this video.
Remember: Saying “Where are my house keys?” is perfectly normal. Holding up your house keys and saying “What are these for?” isn’t. We’re human. We all have our moron moments. You just have to laugh them off when they happen to us and be kind when they happen to someone else. Fly safe! ✈️💛🐝
Besides hearing about that poor doggie, awesome vlog and thank you. Hope that dog turns out okay. But it really is better for that doggie to be with someone more loving. Because obviously there wasn't much on her end. 😤So upsetting. Anywho,,, TY!
She doesn’t care about that poor baby it’s just sad that people can be that way. Filling out bag tag information by hand is the old way. Hopefully your airline will soon have all of that information in the computer. That way you tell the agent the seat number and they just print out the tag, it’s really nice that way. 🤗 The sweater is amazing! So glad you found your keys!😂
It’s unimaginable to me that someone could just give up their dog like that! I have 5 cats and I could never just give any of them away! That’s just so upsetting. That poor doggie! 😢 Unlike you, I am not a fan of most people, but animals have my heart. ❤️
I have a suggestion for your house key situation. If I recall, you have a PO Box at the USPS located at LAS airport. If the rules permit, put a copy of your house key and extra key fob in an envelope, and keep it in your PO Box. At least if you ever have an issue like this happen again, you can rest assured that you have a spare you can get your hands on. Also, I kinda figured you left your keys in your car. Why? Because my husband will often do this, panic, run around the house looking for them and they’re usually in his car. 🙂
Can't believe you left those keys in the car! LOL - Glad you got them tho. Great video as always. Have a great day. Thanks for posting and sharing as always.
I’m not going to say too much about the poor dog, because it made me so mad, and the comment may get banned by UA-cam…moving on, you had a great trip! Ate well, bought nice clothes, discovered you lost then “found” your keys!! I laughed so hard with you!!! You’re the best storyteller 🥳
Totally agree abt recovery meetings, not all are ‘good’ but the ones that are good are forever memorable. And I too love thrifting! Great vlog, always love your vids and happy abt the keys ❤😅✨ Aanndd I’m an Aries ascendant and in recovery 😆
I was on vacation in Hawaii . We had a rental. Drove about 30 mins to go eat and the car started saying the keys were not within range . We started freaking out thinking we were stranded 30 mins from our hotel . Thank heavens they were sitting on top of the trunk !! We cruised 30 mins down a Hawaiian highway with the keys on the trunk ! This is why I would not want a key fob type car lol
I was thinking the whole time that you would have your house keys in your car. Not for a moment thinking that they were both on the same key ring. Talk about your higher power / karma looking out for you❤😊❤
My husband has done that so many times. If only you could have heard me as I was saying you most likely left the keys in your car. The clothes you bought are fantastic and look so good on you. I am an animal lover and was so upset could not believe anyone would give their dog away. Have a nice day.
She should have rented a car and drive herself and her dog to Tampa. Better than that, the dog needs to be rescued from someone who would abandon the dog in an airport. She should have boarded the dog and take a later flight.
Hey Steven, it’s me Dan (and Kandi) from the flight. It really was great to talk to you and as we said before you need a bigger stage. You’re a treasure. Hope to see you again on a future flight!
Like the time you flirted with that cat at the E.A. Poe museum in Richmond, this time too, I felt the town (city?) looks so English! I've been a regular guest at Lincoln Cathedral, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England, for 10 years in a row and this reminds me of the not-quite-centre-roads there. Very interesting! 25:55 I quote a slogan by The Body Shop: "The only way to avoid wrinkles is to never smile again." So Steven, please continue accumulating wrinkles...!!! 30:00 The first time I got drunk I was 21, at a masterclass voice which took place in a winery. The first time I skipped a nights sleep because I was out partying I was 36, and the first time I tried anything wilder than alcohol I was 44... There's a singers life for you. There still is so much to learn! 36:24 I'd have broken out in sweat attacks every single time I thought of my keys in your situation!! So good your car was still there and this case was resolved with such a simple ending.
My sister and I stayed at a boutique hotel in Richmond named The Quirk. It was cute. Very pet friendly. I think it was in that neighborhood. There’s an amazing Grand hotel nearby named The Jefferson Hotel. Amazing to walk through with lots of history. Stressful vlog Steven. Poor young girl with the bunnies too. And did you have to use the seat that wasn’t to be occupied? It’s all behind you now.
We really enjoy your videos. Found you because of Steve in Palm Springs video called you out as a favorite. Te Tommy Bahama shirt you found was their Christmas/holiday shirt from that year. If it still has the side tag, it probably has a year number. My husband had that shirt.
Thanks for this vlog. I'm glad you have found your keys. Things happen for a reason. Don’t worry it happens to me every day. Lol. Have an amazing Labor Day weekend. 🔑👍🛫

So glad you found your keys 🔑!!! Love your new clothes , especially the Tommy B. shirt!!! I didn’t notice the deer in it until you pointed them out, then they really stood out!!! Hope you, Buddy and Eleanor have an awesome holiday weekend 💗💖 Peace ✌️ Love ❤️ and Thrifting 🛒 P.S. I’m 69 so I have lots of post nasal drip memories 🥴😵💫🙃🤪💃🏼 (back in the day😂)
What a relief your keys were in the car when you got back. I had anxiety the whole video worrying about it also lol. I have a Honda also and I picked mine up after service and it was brought out to me and I drove off. I stopped somewhere on the way home and got out of the car and walked away (my car locks automatically when I walk away), and I didn’t hear the beep. Then I realised I didn’t have my keys but knew they were in the car somewhere. After I calmed down I found them in the door handle where the dealership left them.
I know that room in Richmond! The thought of trying to give away my beloved pet at the airport? No! I have a Coach crossbody that I’ve had for years and I absolutely love it. I LOVE little neighborhoods like where the thrift store is. I’m happy the keys were found!
Oh Steven! For some reason the whole video I was thinking you would find them in your door handle. I bet we've all done it! I'm so relieved for you. This is my life. Please don't call yourself names and show yourself the grace you would show other people. We have witnessed it on this channel. ❤
You speak as though none of the rest of us have done something as harebrained (this is from the man who left his debit card in a parking meter - recommendation-don't do that).
That poor dog! She probably doesn't care about the dog. Hope he finds a loving home. Sad.
I would walk before I left Max! So glad you found your keys before someone else did. 💕
Time to get an extra key and hide it outside somewhere
So glad you have your keys and that they didn't fall in to the wrong hands!! In looking at your Tommy Bahama shirt...could that be like an Island Christmas-type shirt? Take this as a sign to make a few spare house keys and put one in your work bag, or your work locker etc!
OMG!! You're so lucky your car was still there. 😅
However, the lady with the dog is so upseting.
The key twist had me gobsmacked! So happy you found them!

You need a log cabin to go with your new sweater now!!!❤❤❤❤
I lived in Richmond for over a decade and loved it. The area you was in is called Shockoe Bottom.
Aries and an alcoholic 😂 (throw in age, I’m also 55😂)
I could just cry that the keys were in the car!! I’ve been there and it is so frustrating 😮

Ste-ven Pe-reira!!! I cannot believe youuuuu! I'm so glad u found ur keys😊
I mailed you some licorice hard candy from Germany. It might be sugar free so don't eat alot of them at one time.
thank God for small miracles.... You found your keys. Let us rejoice in that and the fact that NOBODY stole them.
Oh Steven. I've never laughed as much as I did at the end of this video . I just love you. You are not a moron. I'm glad I'm in good company.

Yes, Pendleton! Love it! You look like a million bucks! Hey Kitties! So glad to see your handsome smile!
perfect footage. =))
I’m happy everything worked out. Don’t be so hard on yourself
I picked it from the beginning 😅 the clue was in the title lol!!! Glad you got ya keys!!!! ❤
That bug you’re hearing is a katydid 😊 I’m gonna finish watching your video now. Much ♥️
What an awful human being. Fur babies are so precious.

Yanno that Higher Power you keep talking about? I think we have some evidence of their existence!

My husband jokes especially with our older kids if they sniff too much. He jokingly asks the teenager that did that if they had been using that drug.

I went to a really fun drag brunch in Richmond! Not sure if ur really into that but it was really fun!!🤩😉🌈

Wow. It's a miracle you still have your keys and your car!
That Tommy Bahama shirt reminds me of a tropical Christmas.
The hippie generation did more fun things than later generations.
Get two house keys cut: one for your neighbour and an another one to keep in your wallet.
Consider installing a wireless garage opener. The cost is low. That way if u don’t have your keys in can get in thru the garage.
You look so skinny ! Love your clothes u bought. Great job!
You were very entertaining today! I think you can blame it on age. I'm a few years older and it's just a fact of life.
I was thinking the whole time that you would have your house keys in your car. Not for a moment thinking that they were both on the same key ring. Talk about your higher power / karma looking out for you❤😊❤
You got those two shirts and sweater for $100 ? You did great, and looks great on you.
My husband has done that so many times. If only you could have heard me as I was saying you most likely left the keys in your car. The clothes you bought are fantastic and look so good on you. I am an animal lover and was so upset could not believe anyone would give their dog away. Have a nice day.
I'm sorry but I would give up my flight seat and stay home with the dog.
She should have rented a car and drive herself and her dog to Tampa. Better than that, the dog needs to be rescued from someone who would abandon the dog in an airport. She should have boarded the dog and take a later flight.
Hi friend, get an AirTag for your keys. I have one on mine and it helps a ton. 😊
Everyone did coke, you know that back of the throat thing… lol so good
You are not a Moron. Glad you found the keys and thankfully no one attempted to steal your car and make it home to Buddy & Eleanor
Hey Steven, it’s me Dan (and Kandi) from the flight. It really was great to talk to you and as we said before you need a bigger stage. You’re a treasure. Hope to see you again on a future flight!
Thanks so much! It's been a long day, so kind words are appreciated! See you next time!
Glad you got to see how wonderful Steven is! He’s a gem with a huge heart!
That's glad you got your keys, maybe You should get one of the Samsung equivalent to an airtag. And maybe hide a key in your garage.
I’m happy you found your keys 🤯
Poor teen with the bunny rabbits.
I was based in Dallas for 2 years. No ty 😅
I am so happy it turned out that way !!!
Fabulous sweater ❤❤❤
99.44% pure - Ivory soap.
I’m speechless ❤❤❤
Welcome to my (moron) club!
I've never done any illicit drugs.
You are the bees knees 🐝
❤

There’s a super LGBTQ+ recovery meeting in the same vicinity of the meeting you attended. Something to keep in mind next time you layover in RIC.
I love me some LGBT fellowship, but I somehow find meetings with a little bit of everyone a better match. But, I'll check it out next time!

Richmond did feel sort of European in places.
I walked by the Quirk a few times. Super cute!

Awesome! Thank you!
You look good Stephen! We need another weight loss video! 😊
I need to lose more weight!
When in Richmond take a walk to Bell Island.
I did that last time I was there. Once was enough. LOL
Thanks for this vlog. I'm glad you have found your keys. Things happen for a reason. Don’t worry it happens to me every day. Lol. Have an amazing Labor Day weekend. 🔑👍🛫
Hi Steven! Thanks for sharing, I am so glad you found your keys!!!!

I loved the key story, that was funny. Loved seeing Richmond.
Some people should never have pets, I hope everything goes good for that poor dog 😢I’m glad you finding your keys greetings from New York.
Oh Steven! For some reason the whole video I was thinking you would find them in your door handle. I bet we've all done it! I'm so relieved for you. I wanted to skip ahead so bad to see if you found them but I resisted temptation and watched the whole way through lol. I'm so glad they were still there!
So glad you found your keys! ❤
The Marines do their PT in that parking lot. Both of my twin sons have run that parking lot many times!
Jeepers! That's quite a run!
With the multitude of things we all have to do and mentally checking lists, it's so easy to forget our every day items like keys even when we are organized. So glad you found them, Steven. Breathe...........
