- For those of you who weren't able to make it to the NAMM show earlier this year, here is a video of Living Colour performing their hit song "Cult of Personality" at the MUSIC Group booth. It was an amazing sight to see these talented guys up close and rocking the show floor. Check it out!
Their singer has lost nothing. Sounds just as good as when it first came out.

+CV SoG yep corey is amazing - i saw them do vivid in full for it's 30th and he was doing shit he did as a young man in the 80's. crazy. his amazing grace accapella made the girl next to me cry. one of the greats for me.
+CV SoG Amen. He's a little less thunderous and slightly less deep but those high screams! Those made me cringe. How is he doing that at his age? The only thing I didn't love is the over-improv. He's clearly been doing the song for many years and is more or less just playing with it now. I get it though.
I wouldn't say he's exactly the same but at least 90%, his voice is aging better than almost all hard rock singers out there

He's a trained actor so I'm sure he knows how treat his voice properly especially after doing a broadway stint of Jesus Christ superstar but yeah he does sound pretty damn good...

Warmonger YT i know what you mean...i would like to hear his "any note goes" style with a "brown" sound. His sound is always "fizzy" not even "fuzzy" it just sounds like a mistake to me. I do love his hectic approach but not the sound.I have met him 2x and he is a very good man and interviews on tv just don't show who he is. anyway I hear ya. lol
Yes, but I wished he kept his dreadlocks. Loved the way he used to dance around throwing them dreads around like some kind of tribal warrior.
All four of these guys are still MONSTER musicians. Awesome!

Reid/Glover still got it. I loved this rendition. That crowd was dead to the greatness of Living Color. They didn't know they were in the presence of Rock Gods.
the design isn't really meant for moshing and going crazy as you can tell it's some kind of convention. If this were a festival the crowd would be tearing it up.
Daniel Mcgreevy I ain't buying the design rationale. The faces of the crowd says it all. They look confused and apprehensive. Most of the white audience(other then that one kid that is rocking out) have a "Who are these guys?" look. They have no clue whatsoever.

the "convention" is NAMM which is the biggest annual music merchants trade show on the continent. Essentially, everyone present either plays, makes, or sells gear. The crowd knew exactly who they were watching.

I'm just thinking out of all brands for guitar led bands...it had to be Behringer to bring out the best performance stage for this band to perform on. Thank you Behringer for supporting them and capturing this historic performance

it's so awesome to see an all black metal/hard rock band. they fucking jam! great vocals and all around talent. this was an anthem in the 90s.

+Bob Yeah, they sound amazing. Shit, I've heard albums that don't sound as good as this performance. They're tight, and talented as hell. It seemed like the guitarist sat on the solo for a little while longer then the vocalist expected. I lol'd when that happened.
These guys are one of the best rock bands of my generation. Saw them live last year, it was an incredible performance. I hope they tour again soon.

Props to the sound technicians at this event, sounds fantastic for a tiny stage.
All of Living Color are underrated. Love these guys. Met them in Aviano AB a few years ago. They were doing a USO gig. Great guys.

I was just watching old clips of tunes I loved. Watched a few great ones of these guys when this came out around 90... Just incredible. That somehow/luckily brought me here. These guys still have it. They killed it. What's changed in 25 years? 1990 = crowds going nuts. Dancing. 2014 = rows and rows of people filming on their phones. Sigh. At least they clapped?

Epic! Loved them when they first came out and tried 3 times to see them in concert since I was 16 and all three times were cancelled due to hurricanes.... I am going to see them soon! I am 41 now and they still know how to rock! Love it!
