I wish we had this in the USA. I take mainstream tumbling classes right now but struggle to keep up with kids half my age because of a nervous system disorder and a heart condition. My coaches are wonderful but they aren't really trained to work with someone with my challenges.
they do its called special olymics my brother does bowling basketball and swimming and they do have gymnastics to you should check out the program I really love it.
Marleigh Joy I agree with you because I’m disabled and I have cerebral palsy and epilepsy and I love gymnastics but I can’t do it.
ZoBugs Gym unfortunately not everyone qualifies for special Olympic.
@zobugsgym1997: But the Special Olympics is for intellectually disabled (and some neurodivergent) athletes. Some might also have physical issues, but physically disabled athletes are not who it’s actually for.
Sadly the league has since disbanded iirc because of lack of opportunities for international level competition (it’s one of the only Olympic sports the Paralympics doesn’t have and disability gymnastics is/ was almost uniquely British).
From 🇧🇷, the IPC should include the Disability Gymnastics on the Paralympic Games! Who knows, in the future distant!

Great video, pleased that the GMPD title has gone! Wonderful to see so many familiar faces filmed to promote a fantastic sport that helps posture and co-ordination in a fun and friendly way. Gymnastics is a way of life for my daughter, her gym buddies are her second family and it would be fabulous if disabled gymnasts are included when filming all national events :)

This is so sweet! I love it so much I have a brother with a disability and it is so sad that he struggles so much and he needs help and it is just so sad . I should show him this it will make him happy

Now if we coild just get something like this state side and don't say para and special olympics. As young woman with physical disability I have done my reasearch and no it is not the same. This is much more inclusive
