Loango is an obscure two province tribe that is subject to Kongo - but what if it were possible to use them to form the Kongolese empire and colonize Belgium in EU4? In this video guide we will cover how to play Kongo (as Loango), modernize our nation with EU4 Origins’ new mission tree and reverse colonize the European powers while keeping them out of Africa. In this alternative timeline the scramble for Africa is replaced with the African scramble for Europe and may or may not result in Belgian subjugation - King Leopold’s nightmare!

if you’re a reader, the book Everfair is literally about the Congo discovering their natural resources during the colonial period and using them to crush the belgians and form a free state. it’s a great book

In Ck3, starting as a Dutch ruler in either starting date. make your way over to the middle east, convert to a zoroastrian faith, get the Persian empire and become the zoroaster. All while keeping Dutch culture.

You wanna know the really ironically funny part? The Kingdom of Loango wasn't integrated into the Belgian Congo but was actually one of the largest contributors to the territory of the FRENCH Congo.

Exactly, even today that region is the Republic of the Congo, while the Belgian part is the Democratic Republic of the Congo (earlier Zaire).

a intresting thing u can do in africa atm is start as mutapa and take over kongo then do the missions as mutapa to get the controled gold mines privilage and the ability to gain dev from buildings then form kongo to get the ability to get +10% discipline just from ur religion via the decisions that let u set a cult and make ur hair always get the same cult at 2x strenght after that u can then form and other country u want as kongo doing stuff like this u could potentually also form ethiopia (if they are reformable im not sure) just to get their unique units and goverment reform

Castile is great, Id also recommend Portugal as well. Perfect geography leads to calm early game, can focus on colonization and development. Ottomans are also a good choice if you want a more war focused campaign. Goodluck!

'Albion delenda est' is a reference to 'Carthago delenda est' quoting Cato - means basically Carthage (or Albion in this case) must be destroyed for Rome (or in this case the Kongo) to continue to prosper/expand.
