Thanks man, and yes they are very expensive you can try bidding for a pair on ebay can prolly save a couple hundred $$ thats how i got mine, also fyi, if you do long tube headers on these cars you are going to need a custom tune
Hey fellow manitoban here also crow vic owner sounds awesome, wanted to do headers on mine but it's just too expensive, parts and labour probably cost you $2000 ?
@@kingnino4836 Right on man! And ya the headers alone were like $2300..... damn exchange rate lol. I got the whole setup installed for like $1000, and i should mention every single bolt snapped on the removal of the stock manifolds! So $1000 was not bad at all.
@@kingnino4836 yes im running hi flow cats that came with my header package but they really act more like resonators as they dont really convert much lol, not much different than running off road package as it still throws codes and needs custom tune for rear o2 sensors to be shut off
I got them off ebay to save a couple hundred $$, they are stainless works headers you can get them from their website as well, stainless works and kooks are the only two companies that make headers for these cars. Stainless works is the only one that is a true fit with no modifications having to be made for installation, i stil have like an inch and a half of clearance from my steering shaft, so installation is easy with stainless works headers.
Did you run ur tailpipes straight through or over and out like the stock tailpipes come? Installing headers on mine sometime this month and puttin a catless x pipe but i've asked plenty of shops and they said they could only do straight through or dumped cuz the 2.5" piping is too big for over and out
I got mine from eBay, on eBay there are various automotive/performance part stores that might be selling them through eBay, this way you can have a chance of saving some money by bidding. You can also buy them right from stainlessworks.net for full price
@@Chewpahmiberga all stock catalytics are removed, im just running two hi flow cats that came with my header package, they really are just like small resonators more than cats though.
With stock tune there is CEL and idle rpms are everywhere. So I bought a custom tune from JMSchip for my SCT tuner and now there is no CEL and the car runs great.
@@shaunpasses3153 I got the tune like 2+ years ago I think, I'm actually waiting for another tune from JMS right now because they dont sell 93 octane where I live anymore, so getting new tune for 91 octane...... will see if they still keep the CEL off this time round
Really dope, definitely considering this V8 for a daily driver.
love mine
One rev over here got me drooling for more such a tease
This thing sounds nastyyyyyy 🔥🔥
wow that actually sounds good almost close to a marauder nice 👍🏾 work
It's literally the same engine you realize that right? Just different heads
@@michaelwatson2776 um no duh…sir…its clearly states that in the title…
Dang man ive been looking for a pair of them headers but they are so expensive. They sound amazing.

Yeah i cant justify paying 1200-1300 for headers. I think i might save the money and do an engine swap 🤷🏽♂️

Sweettttttt❤️💯💯💯
💯💯💯💪💪💪
Are they headers for an 99-04 stand?
No they are designed specifically for the crown vics and other panther platform cars. These are the 03-2011 style. Stainless Works
Where did you get them headers? We're they hard to install like DDI you need to move anything drastically?

My 2.5 inch pipes go up and over the rear axle like the stock ones do, it is easily doable.
@@thcscarface1 What's the Part# to the Super 10s? Are they the Center IN, Center OUT???

Is it too loud ?
For me no it's not, but for most people I would guess that yes it would be too loud. The cops have given me a warning for it already as well.🙃
So it's 2.5 inch long tube headers??
Post the link on where u got them headers bro.
Yes its 2.5 inch headers with 3 inch collectors

Not worth $1700 for just headers
