It's incredibly rare for covers to improve upon the original. It's an absolute staggering cover. It's delivery is arguably more honest to the intent for the lyrics. It's probably better than the original. Already a gut wrenching song, this version makes it so much heavier
this is so impressive and motivating. i'm gonna be listening to this constantly over next month hjune you've done so much for the rust community and for the gaming community in general. it's so great to see you taking life into your own hands and branching out. it's really helping me as i ready myself to leave the place i've called home for my whole life from the time i first woke up on the beach in rust two years ago, i never thought i would be able to AK spray some chads down. it seemed like such a far off goal each time i left my base on a new adventure i got a little bolder and wiser. the struggle was real, but watching how confident you are while remaining so humble had me determined the original trust in rust tournament had me so stoked that my new favorite game was about to go big, and finally seeing you play with the otv crew gave me hope that the future wasnt so bleak and wasnt all about raiding looting and griefing i've reached 2k hours, and spend the beginning of every session practicing on aim train servs. i can finally roam the mean streets of rust without fear but that was never the whole point. rust changed the way i live my life, im not just confident in the game, it's given me the perspective that i can improve in all aspects and facets irl as well thank you for being the one to give rust the attention it deserves, it's an amazing game that i think everyone should play at least for a little while; to show how difficulty can be overcome. but thank you even more for taking the leap to work on yourself, and through that encourage everyone who watches you to think about their own lives as well as i play, i remember that behind every hazmat-db-camper or metal-facemask-wearing ak-spraying chad there's a sweaty gamer at a keyboard. that applies to life as well, somehow and that makes it all worthwhile
