A engine at 55 thousand is at its end of life wow! My corsa is at 136 and honestly it's going strong, it gets maintained regularly and anything that need replacing gets replaced but 55 being a high mileage car is ridiculous I class 200 thousand as high mileage.
Yeah true I get your point but with smaller engine cars, 136k is high mileage. you'll understand when you try come and sell your car as when I tried to sell my 110k mile fiesta, majority turned me down or low balled me to f**k because it was 'high miles'. As for the Corsa in this video, the owner of the car must of really driven this car hard and I would tell you more but I don't think the owner would be quite pleased. So you moral of the story is if you want your car to last maintain it well like you're doing.

Not sure why you keep calling low mileage cars “high mileage”
Kyle Shaw sometimes I feel like even though there’s not a lot of miles on this car, it is definitely reaching the end of its lifetime. I didn’t mention all the history this car had coz I don’t want to annoy the owner but it’s interesting if you knew.
I have a blue 2013 1.0 ecoflex in Energy trim which has alloys and foglights. It's done 74000 miles so far and I'd be happy to keep it for another 3-5 years. I have found the 1.0 engine to be happy enough cruising at 60 MPH and fairly economical, at 70 MPH the MPG drops. The road tax is £30 and it's insurance group 2. As a side note, these 3 door Corsas really suit wind deflectors!
Your review was honest and accurate, in many ways more interesting than 'big channel' reviews which just read from the spec sheets and complain about dashboard materials.
James Rennie thank you buddy really appreciate that! I agree if you do a lot of motorway cruising avoid anything below a 1.2 engine as it starts to have an impact on the longevity of your vehicle. And yeah I’ve seen corsa’s wind deflectors and they do sit well.
I got the Vauxhall mareva design automatic and manual 1.6 2008 huge boot bk seats go down flat then the boot goes to 5 ft awsum car pulls off really fast aswell
I have a 62 plate 1.0 ecoflex ive owened it eighteen months and put 15000 miles on it its never missed a beat its now got a 103000 on it still going strong had oil change at kwick fit 70 quid no timing chain noise.

All I did was change my spark plugs and mines the same as this and on 117000 miles and it’s as good as new

This is not high mileage, 80,000 miles is considered as low mileage in majority car dealerships if that car is 55,000 miles and it’s a 2011 that’s under 7,000 miles a year? Completely under the average! That’s still a very healthy car, insulting if you ask me. Clickbait
