The Max flew hundreds of thousands of times without any issue. Only two flights crashed which is 2 too many no doubt, however as someone that flew the Max many times whilst in service, I don't think I was ever in any sort of imminent danger.
Thanks for coming to Maine! York Beach is awesome, but you’ve really gotta stay here for a good amount of time to get a feel for things. Come back when you can!
I'm from Houston and that quick cut to the news clips made me almost spit out my drink from laughter! The comedic timing was top notch! 😂 I'm glad you weren't in the city during Harvey, I was stuck in my house for almost a week!
Thanks so much for visiting our six New England states. I may have been born in Missouri but New England has been my home for decades. It's a very special corner of North America. Cheers!
Roundabouts are a plenty in Gainesville, Florida, and in a lot of more 'planned' communities, like Lakewood Ranch, Fla. Also, in New Jersey, they employ 'jug handles' for left hand turns on major roads.....sort of roundaboutish.
Bro, you had 6 hours to kill in Providence and you waited it out at the airport? Next time hit me up, I will show you this amazing and beautiful state.
Noel Philips, you’re such an inspiration for me! Keep on making these awesome videos, it motivates me a lot to keep on making trip reports! Cheers from Canada 😄✈️

Not gonna lie - I was so ecstatic when I saw you went to the McDonald's in my hometown of West Springfield! And ALL coffees should be that big! I know I'm a few years late to the party, but so happy to see you enjoyed your romp through New England. I was born and raised in Massachusetts and have never done the challenge myself. But now you've inspired me! Love the videos, both old and new, and keep up the amazing work!
Interresting is that that they also ran a Scotland to USA service with the 737-800 NG. I thought that would be a stretch but I read online that the 737-800 NG has a range of 3115 nautical miles and that Edinburgh to Providence RI is 2708 nautical miles so they could have potentially also flown as far as to NYC and even to Pittsburgh, I guess. (I knew that with the MAX its no issue as it has 3550 nautical miles range. ) I shouldnt come as a surprise when I think about it; Back in the day with their fleet was only 737 NG (and B787) they used the NG from Scandinavian capitals to the Canary Islands which is just a bit less distance. Nowadays, those routes are mostly serviced by the 737 Max 8.
The NE states are just about the only places in the US where you'll encounter a roundabout (we call 'em "traffic circles"). God alone knows how they came to be here -- or why. To just about anyone from anywhere else in America, they're mystifying and slightly frightening artifacts of engineering akin to Stonehenge or the heads on Easter Island. Somewhere in the Greater Boston area, I'm convinced, there's some poor bugger in an '85 Camry with North Dakota plates who's been circling the same 360 degrees of arc since his car was new. This is my second time finding this video and it was just as much fun the second time through as it was three years ago. Thanks for making it for us!
I wish you took a "puddle jumper" from Hartford to Burlington, VT and started your drive from there. I may be biased since I grew up there, but the journey on I-89 through the Green Mountains and the lakes region of New Hampshire is amazing! 😁 Love your candid commentary! Sorry you had to endure the "concrete jungle" we call our Interstate system. 😒
Hey mate I admire you for doing that challenge in that amount of time I could only imagine how exhausted jet lagged you must of been respect. Great videos to by the way like the Russian Yak videos.
If I remember correctly you uploaded this video(with less editing) a couple of months back and I was surprised to see it gone when I wanted to rewatch it, I really enjoyed it! Glad to see its back on the channel, great video as always :D
Long story :) . I originally uploaded and UA-cam blocked it in most countries as I'd used different music, also there were lots of parts I wasn't happy with in the edit so I've re-edited it :)
Here's a real 24 hour 5 state challenge for you during the summer months. In this case, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan Ohio and Indiana. Fly into Chicago, drive up to Manitowoc, WI, take the car ferry S.S. Badger (one of the last regularly scheduled reciprocating steam engine powered ships you can ride on in the world. You can even get a private room with a bed on the Badger.) across Lake Michigan to Ludington, MI. From Ludington, drive south-southeast via Grand Rapids, MI into a bit of Ohio, then take the Ohio Turnpike, Indiana Toll Road and Illinois Toll Road back to Chicago's O'Hare. There you have it!
I was wondering if you ever had ventured to the east coast....where I used to live...Hope you enjoy some lobster, and clam chowder....CT has nice clean beaches too....thank you for all these fantastic videos....
What a great video, I done my first solo trip to the states last year, I plan to visit all 50 us states, this video has given me a great excuse to tick off the 5 like you have!
I highly recommend a drive to the white mountains if you get a chance to drive in NH. It's about two hours from the Massachusetts border and beautiful. I live in the lakes region area which is about a 40 minutes drive from the mountains
Hallo, what a great and stunning vid again. such a cool idea getting over the time gap by challenging 5 us states! really cool idea. we love ur vids and we do adore the way u bring these trips to our home. thanky u so so much for making our days better too!! greets from jena, germany mathias

I can't believe I haven't watched this video before, I really enjoyed it Noel! However I actually thought it was Paul Stewart from the thumbnail, I just don't recognise you clean shaven! 🤣
You picked a really pretty route! I will say I'm pretty upset that you got such good parking at York Beach in the summertime though, I'm never that lucky! My dad lives a couple towns over from where you were in Chesterfield, NH and I live just south of Boston. Really fun video to watch. Bless you for flying out of TF Green, tiny airport to kill six hours in (also, it's technically in Warwick, not Providence. But close enough :P).
I know it's great. My girlfriend is from the Hudson Valley, so I go over regularly. The project we are doing ( one per trip) is visiting all the Dublin's in America. We went to Dublin PA in February and this time it will be Dublin NH.

Haha yep nothing like York, UK :D
The camera is a bit shakey and in my opinion when you are standing up the camera is to close to your face. Maybe investing in a good quality tripod if you haven’t already. But other than that love seeing your videos
Cheers Connor, filmed this some time back and have started to get some better equipment :D . Thanks for watching!
Clam strips?? I would get a lobster roll myself.
“piscataqua” sounds how it’s spelled lol. it’s always weird to watch people drive through places I pass every day.

10:50 it is called new ENGLAND for a reason lol
I didn't knew that a place called New England exists by the way is the driving rules same over there or anything to be considered for People living in UK
just curious
The driving rules are pretty similar in the US, it's very easy to drive there compared to the UK, although the traffic was pretty insane through Boston!
