I was once hitchhiking in Wales, 1982, and got a lift in a Commer camper van that was towing a split screen VW camper. The VW was called Frodo. Made a big impression on me.

The view across the lake looks almost as if it could have been shot in England! That tree really is remarkable, it looks totally natural. A *tad* pricey, but I suppose if you have gone half way around the world, it would be a shame not to see it. A family group could get a bit on the chuffin' exorbitant side though.

Was genuinely driven to tears by having to read The Hobbit at primary school. It gave me nightmares for months, and left me with no desire to read any more of Tolkien's books. Years later, someone gave me a copy of the LOTR trilogy, which burned quite well in Winter. You made the place seem quite interesting, but that drive-by price of $84 is really taking the mickey. Thanks for the video.

40 or more years since my primary school teacher read The Hobbit to us, remember us all sitting in a semi-circle and being disappointed when each chapter ended with a cliffhanger. It certainly stimulated the imagination, hairy feet and circular doors. This is how I remember imagining it. On a negative or maybe not point for me, I started to question the reality of other books we were told were reality at the time, even though they were both really the same in terms of concept.

The story gave me gave me the creeps, when we had to read it at primary school. I've still no wish to be entertained by Tolkien, decades later.
